Home away from home

Such a gorgeous place to stay, right on the river, family (including our furry friend) absolutely loved it. Everything you need and more. Comfy beds, awesome back yard, felt instantly relaxed :)

Loved it and will be back!

This was one of my most favourite holiday homes, we had the best time enjoying the river. It had everything we could ask for and more even little toys in the cubby house for our toddler. I loved kayaking basically in the backyard and we even had a dolphin visit us! Looking forward to coming back.

Fabulous spot, feels miles away even though it's so close to Perth and a stones throw from Mandurah. Loved it. Epic weekend there, will keep going back

HIdden Gem

Absolutely charming cottage, delightful in every way. It was thoughtfully furnished and the supplies in the pantry were such a nice touch and greatly appreciated. The location was idylic. We stayed 2 nights but wished we had a week.

Beautiful damily fruendly waterfront oasis

Beautiful house, gardens, furniture, appliances, the house was short of mothing- the outdooor heTer made for nice nights or the fire pit.. We had a beautiful stay, kids had a great time. House was clean, even had a bottle of wine & Chocolate awaiting. 5stars- bonus we could have our dogs. Thankyou

Nice cosy spot

Its a nice cosy spot however listing did not accurately describe the lack of linen. Door knobs were mostly faulty, and hot water wasnt working half the time. Overall its still and enjoyable stay

Perfect river getaway

When arriving you are greeted by a gorgeous little cottage with edible garden in the front and river along the back. Lots of ducks and birds to keep you company, just remember the mozzie guard. The cottage is tastefully decorated and very comfortable, light and a lovely breeze when you open the front door and back sliding door. Very quiet locations one my 15 mins to Mandurah or Pinjarra. We will definitely be back 🤗

Peaceful getaway

Great little spot. Right on the rivers edge. Nice and quiet. Heaps of bird life. Pelicans, black swans swimming up to our back yard. You can fish and crab right from the property. Canoe up the river. We hired a pontoon and spent a day cruising the river and canals. Everything we needed was provided at the house. Our dog absolutely loved exploring the garden and the neighbours were super friendly. Highly recommend 😁

Peaceful mini-break

Cute cottage in a lovely location set on an offshoot of the Murray River. Neutral decor, period features, comfy beds, huge stove, good shower. We spent nearly all of our time on the lawned area outside (on our own chairs), watching the ducks & birds and kayakers. It is a quiet section of the river so you don’t really get boats passing by. The front garden is lovely to wander around - lots of pretty flowers and fruit trees out the front. A tip for summer - pack the aerogard. The mozzies were out in the day time as well as night. There were some things that would have made our stay more comfortable - especially handrails on the front and back stairs. My 79 yo mum couldn’t go down the back stairs due to no handrails and I managed to stack it one night on the back stairs when taking the dog out. As short people we struggled to reach cups, glasses & plates and stood on a chair to reach them. A step stool would be good, or storing the crockery lower down or on cup hooks. The main bedroom had bedside lamps but they were not wired up and without globes. It would have been good to have functioning bedside lamps in both bedrooms. We found it a bit hard unlocking some of the doors; labeling the keys would reduce confusion. All in all a nice spot and bigger groups would likely make more use the verandah with its large bbq and table. We recommend this for people wanting a break away in a secluded location. I’d love to come back with a friend some time in the future, it would be really lovely in winter with the open fire.
