The place was dirty, the shower was dirty, dust everywhere, old fashion, only thing was positive was the way out

Wish i had not found Lost Guest House
Check in was a nightmare Intercom to get in, terrible sound quality, no idea what was said. Given key for wrong room. Lady came to correct, very sorry. Walls paper thin, difficult to sleep. Disrupted one morning at 3am by someone watching tv, another time by a loud srgument on phone. Room small, very little space around bed, door into bathroom very awkward as hung on wrong side. Internet unreliable, one night did not work at all, otger times signal dropped regularly, very annoying. We wanted somewhere to have a good sleep for a long working day, not possible here.

Shower door was broken.Got flea bites then was there.Also the milk was out of date

We have turned the room upside down and can't find a single insect. We have not also had any pets in that room this year.The milk is dated to October which is 2 months away.We can only assume you have left this bad review since we had to tell you repeatedly to turn your music down. We do not allow parties here.

Stunning house and great service.
An absolutely stunning house and great service. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here and will be back. Durham is a beautiful city and our stay here was the icing on the cake. We are both carnivores and the staff were very considerate, giving us a packed breakfast to take with us as we had to leave very early on the morning of our departure. Thank you so much for an incredible break. We will be back in the spring. James and Lydia.

Good for one night
Good value for the price, the hotel was clean, however the bed was uncomfortable and the hallway door closed very loudly which resulted in waking us up every time someone went through

Nice clean basic accomodation. One complaint would be that the booking said breakfast would be included however when I arrived it said it was an additional 4GPS and had to be booked by 8:30. We arrived late and could not make arrangements.

The Manager is a very hardworking and dedicated employee whom went far beyond what any reasonable employer would expect. Based on some 4 decades of commercial Management experience in many parts of the world, the owner should really involve himself directly in improving the exterior condition of the property and providing more additional staff to support the heavily time commitments placed on the Manager whom is simply overworked.

Excellent, right in the town centre and plenty of on street parking. Plenty of space in the room and a decent enough en suite too. I’ve paid a lot more money for far worse rooms! Would highly recommend if you’re looking for somewhere comfortable and clean to spend the night.

Room was clean and ok for one night found it noisy as person next door kept going out for a smoke at all hours and banging door, could have done with extra pillow but overall was ok oh and breakfast was lovely and staff were great
