House was great for our group. It was better in person than the pictures online. Richard was a fantastic host, very accomodating & paints great art! I think I found a new painting in the house everyday that I hadn't seen the day before. House was very spacious & very clean. We enjoyed Petoskey & Charlevoix. The Petoskey Brewery is literally around the block and had great food, Petoskey state park across the road (has a really great beach), downtown shopping area ,farmers market on Friday. Must go to Sunset park (10 min drive) to see the million dollar sunset, it did not disappoint! We rock hunted at Magnus park, Petoskey beach, Charlevoix beach, Fishermans Island, East park. Had ice cream & chocolates at Kilwins. Awesome mexican restaurant that we ate at twice, Mi Tequila. A really fun putt putt golf place a 3 min drive from house. There's a fire pit, we bought firewood at Meijer,15 min drive. There were spices, sugar, powdered creamer in the cabinet, a keurig & drip cofee maker. Kitchen was fully eqiupped. Had plenty of pillows & blankets & towels. Washer & dryer came in handy. The lake in back is not for swimming. We enjoyed breakfast every morning on the patio. Every room had a tv. 2nd bathroom is a jack & jill.
Only negatives: bathroom needs some hooks for hanging things, tons of goose poop in the backyard, no closet access in one of the bedrooms, door was tricky to open.
