“The hotel has been in existence since 1849 and there is definitely a charm to it! I didn’t know there was no elevator when booking and my mum who is elderly had trouble to climb many stairs. The gentleman at reception (Gabriel) was so very helpful to us to and it was a relief to me and mum. We were there overnight but very happy to have been at the charming hotel. It is smack in the small town which was ideal.”

The rooms were very clean and smelled fresh, and the entire property was well-maintained and organized. Best reception staff, best in class amenities in each chalets, tents, parkings near to each stay, clean and beautiful ambience, rooms, clean bed sheets, pillows, outside fire pit, grill, cooking place, dish washer and all crockeries. Pool place also neat and good, restaurant looks great in its class. Good and tasty food. Totally vibrant. 👍we all enjoyed and defenitly will visit again.”

“Beautiful and very comfortable room. Unfortunately the fireplace could not be persuaded to work but it was not really a problem. Next time we will visit in the season as many restaurants were still on winter hours and so the choice was a bit limited.”

“Pros: ​- The room was clean and spacious enough for two people. - The area is really nice and silent, best sleep is guaranteed. ​Cons: ​- The unit is in poor condition; the timer and water bucket are broken, the interior was dirty, and drafts make it difficult to maintain heat. - We paid extra to get a room with s fireplace. Check-in instructions suggested a wood-burning fireplace (mentioning wood at reception), but the condo actually features a gas fireplace, which ruined the intended……
