“I highly recommend staying at The Sleep. The cleanliness is above and beyond what is expected for such an affordable price. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, quick to meet any requests or to suggest any nearby sights and/or activities. Phang-nga itself is incredible, with many sights to see, and best of all, without the crowds! I thought I’d only stay 2 nights, but ended up staying a full week and still did not manage to get around to see everything.

“Excellent check in and very accommodating staff. Rooms are basic yet comfortable and clean. Hot water with shower and great sized fridge.
There were three really sweet dogs in the surrounding area and I particularly liked how the staff at hotel appeared to be looking out for these strays, said a lot about the staff at the hotel so got big thumbs up from me.
There's a selection of items that can be purchased to eat or drink at reasonable cost. Staff member on check on was super helpful……

“We loved this resort. Fabulous location right in the middle of the village. Walking distance to multiple restaurants, shops and bars. The restaurant and rooms and pool set back from the road in stunning tropical surroundings. Staff so friendly and welcoming and helped us with organising activities and taxis . Our room was compact but clean with great amenities such as hanging racks, complimentary snacks, coffee and tea facilities. A nice big bed and bunks for our son. Great aircon. Massage……

“This was a very beautiful resort, very quiet, and stunning veiws of the mountains, if you just want relaxing is very ideal. But it is in the middle of nowhere so very hard to go anywhere if you dont have transport. They do have a free shuttle into the village, but if you want to come back you only have less than a hour to look around otherwise you have to hunt round for a taxi.”

“Sehr schöne Unterkunft direkt am Fluss gelegen.
7km vom Nationalpark entfernt was aber kein Problem war, da ich eine Tour vom Hotel aus gebucht habe da ist die An und Rückfahrt mit dabei gewesen.
Ich hatte eine ganz liebe Gastgeberin. Sie hat super Englisch gesprochen, war total herzlich. Ich habe dort auch sehr lecker gegessen. Die haben dort eine gute Speisekarte mit viel Auswahl. Auch Frühstück ist top.
Man muss dazu sagen, dass es in der Natur ist. Abends sehr viele Fliegen und Insekten.……

“We stayed here for two nights before we went to Khao Suk National Park. The cottages were very cute, a little rustic. The mosquito netting around the bed made me sleep soundly knowing I was safe from the insects and geckos that may have made it in our room. The food was fantastic and the service was amazing. They arranged a cooking class for us and a canoe trip and they were both great. If you are looking for a jungle retreat this is your place. ”
