The Old City location was the highlight of our stay, with many of Philadelphia’s historic sites within easy walking distance. The apartment had wonderful natural light, and we especially enjoyed the views from the kitchen window and balcony. Watching the sunrise from the kitchen table was a treat. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms made it a great setup for two couples, with comfortable shared space and useful amenities, including a dishwasher and washer/dryer combo. The apartment is a bit rundown and could use some TLC (carpeting, deck, shower doors that didn’t work in one bathroom) and it had very low water pressure. Overall, the location helped us overlook these issues, and we enjoyed our stay. However, we would probably look for a different property in the same neighborhood if we returned.

The property is under renovations and or in need of serious renovation and repairs. Several ceiling areas are peeling and cracking, drywall is flaking off and falling in the bathroom. Transition strips leading to bedroom are missing on the floor leaving exposed rusted carpet nails. This place has some obvious damages that are painted over for a bandaid type repair. The balcony is unsafe with multiple nails sticking up, boards missing, and the railing detached about to fall over.
