very cozy place to stay

This is a highly-recommended hotel. The location is quite convenient. Everything is great, feeling like a home. One thing that they can improve is the offering of the breakfast. It is quite hard to get breakfast outside the hotel in the morning. So, if there is breakfast offered, even a simple continental breakfast, that would be great and the convenient for business travelers.

One of the best properties for the value for the money and the experience there. I am a fan. Outstanding property, staff and amnesties. Clean 5 star room thats compact and well designed. Complementary laundry room for guests, no coin operated nonsense. They even give you free detergent. Very nice and well equipped fitness center. Purified water with recyclable bottles on all floors. Gourmet coffee maker in the lobby (complementary). Early check in option and 12 pm check out. Perfect location in the middle of it all! What more can you ask?

Locatie was top, maar de staat van het hotel en de kamer waren minder dan verwacht. Wel schoon, maar iets meer verouderd dan de foto’s doen vermoeden. De locatie maakt daarentegen wel e.e.a. goed.

We liked the location of the hotel. The parking and unloading situation is very inconvenient. I didn’t receive anything beforehand to know you had to unload on a different street from the front door on Chestnut St. I asked for queen bed; I had two twin beds in room!

Overall or rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable.. I will say social media and the pictures are a bit exaggerated. The hotel needs an update. I was kind of shocked when I arrived by how outdated things looked. The staff was really nice and helpful. Hotel is located in a prime area. We were able to walk to just about everywhere

We arrived at the hotel an hour after check in, but were told we had to wait 20 minutes for the room to be ready. It ended up being 45 minutes. When the room was ready, it was the wrong room (twin beds instead of a queen). I the manager was helpful but it was overall very frustrating because we had a reservation.

TLDR: steer clear. On a positive note, it’s pretty clean, there’s great water pressure in the shower (but almost violent) and the location in the city is good. On the other hand, the hotel is old and in need of major renovation. Cabinet door nearly falling off, cheap painted wood furniture, very little drawer space. So small you couldn’t even walk on one side of the bed. The small window only has a view of the brick wall next door. The bathroom so small you barely have room to lean over the sink without hitting the opposite wall. Shower stall only. The hotel has no amenities and barely any staff. No streaming available on the tv. Parking is across the street and around the corner.

The whole hotel was very clean, staff was very helpful and addressed every concern we had. Someone we didn’t know knocked on our door around 11:15 pm. We called the front desk and security came right up to our room to check out the situation. It turned out to be someone at the wrong room. The only thing we didn’t like was the size of the rooms and lack of someplace to sit other than the bed(only 1 desk chair in the room). Also note there is no restaurant, snack shop or breakfast in the Hotel. Other than that we had a great stay 😉
