When I arrived, after a long day, all I wanted to do was go to sleep. I opened the door to my room and got a blast of sauna level hot air. Just the opposite of what I needed. The room was 87 degrees! It was so swelteringly hot that I could not sleep in that room. I went to the lobby. The person at the desk said to give it about an hour to cool down. I waited for over an hour. When I went back upstairs, it was 83 degrees. I went back to the lobby to ask for a fan. They didn't have one. It was a different person than before, so he suggested I set it to 70 degrees and wait another 30 minutes. The entire night there was a vent over the door of the room continuously pumping out hot air. Another vent in the room was trying to push in some cooler air, but not enough to get the room temp down fully. It never got to 70 degrees, only 73. I did not sleep well as not only was the room too hot but the bed was too hard. In the morning, the room started warming up again and was at 83 degrees quickly. I couldn’t get ready in that room due to the heat, so I left. I spoke to yet another person at the front desk that morning. She said that they've been having trouble with the vents and did apologize. She said she’d tell maintenance and the manager. Nothing else was offered or said. I would have expected someone to offer a different room upon my first trip to the desk. I expected fans to be available, especially when the heat issue was a known problem. I won’t go there again.
