Your own vehicle is necessary for getting to the property and for exploring Philipsburg. There are no taxis or driving services available in the area. It is highly recommended that you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle in the winter months, Montana weather is unpredictable and the roads can become icy or covered in snow. The road to the cabin is regularly plowed.
