"First of all, the view is amazing. The huge house is bright and cheery with so many windows. Secondly, I've stayed in a lot of vacation rentals, and this one has to be the best equipped place. They thought of every little detail and supply that a traveler might need. And the master bed is so soft and comfortable. I was pleased with everything. You should know as stated in the description, that even though the property is on the water, there are 100 extremely steep steps down to the shore. But we were more than happy sitting out on all the different decks just looking at the gorgeous views. I hope everyone enjoys this place as much as we did."

"We really enjoyed our time at this property. It was good weather and we were able to make smores. The neighbors were really friendly. It was sunny in the morning on the deck but in the afternoon the house shades the deck. It would be nice to have a roll out awning so you don't feel like you fry in the sun in the morning, but it was great to have coffee out there. Early in the morning there was wildlife to watch. We had an eagle that went by everyday in the afternoon. There from flocks of geese and fish jumping all the time. It was really comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked to make all of the meals we brought. The stove top was really cool with the fan that comes out of the counter. The dining room also gets a bit warm in the morning, but it was not awful. We did not use the hot tub, but it looks nice.We loved the bathroom upstairs and the closet. The rooms were pretty comfortable. The guest bedroom upstairs is really tight for the second person to get in, but it is manageable.We would come back to this property, it was great!"

"Cozy and comfortable. Nearly perfect, but no complaints. More fireworks than hoped for, but no way to control. Besides, it was USA's 250th! Our dog did calm down by the 5th of July. Amenities were just what we needed. Loved the woods. And friendly hosts."

"The house is amazing, access to the water and dock are great. The kitchen is really nice, but it’s not as well-stocked as the kitchens in other houses we’ve rented. I love to cook, so I may expect more than the average renter. There are no Tupperware or bowls with lids for leftovers, no bags to store anything either (I’m used to at least sandwich-sized ziplocs). Cooking for 9 was tricky, but we made it work. The beach is rocky, so shoes are recommended. Our 10-year-old was exploring the water around the dock and cut his toe on something, through his water shoe. But there were no other accidents. Christi let me know the AC was broken, and gave me the option to cancel the reservation, but we had people visiting from France and couldn’t cancel. I requested a discount, but was told because we got the house at 50% the usual rate, they couldn’t do much. I knew we got a great deal, but the house was advertised with AC at the price we got it for (as was listed on VRBO) and felt a bit slighted. Christi did provide some box fans in the bedrooms. Still, the house was HOT. We brought window fans and a standup AC unit with us, but these were not enough. Sleeping in the heat was difficult. Overall, we had a great time. I’d give it 8/10, for kitchen and AC issues."

"This cosy cabin is directly on the water! Fabulous views of Puget Sound and lots of wildlife. We loved sitting on the deck in the evenings and watching the tide go in and out. King bed is very comfortable. But our favorite part was the privacy that the property afforded us. We will be returning to this lovely retreat."

"Amazing property. We will 100% be back. The view from the back porch is breathtaking all hours of the day. Even got to enjoy my morning coffee and see the river otters play under the dock on multiple occasions. "
