Not ready for rental.

It was a rough start with a laundry list of missing or/and none functional amenities. Microwave not working. Ice-maker not working. No coffee pot. Minimal kitchen utensils, and no oven cookware. Floor not clean. Three chairs at table. No instructions for anything; TV, heat, etc. One hanger in the entire condo Simply put this property was not ready for rental. It took three days before anyone from Vacasa responded to any of our requests for missing items. Then an agent brought a small micro-wave, flatware, and cutting knifes. He said his boss would call us. After several days she left a voice message which we returned promptly, lots of phone tag followed, and it was probably a week before we actually spoke. She arranged for more items to be delivered, and promised compensation for our inconvenience, but never issued a credit. We finally contact a manager at Vacasa who promptly issued a partial credit, but still don’t know about where remaining compensation is or if we’ll ever see it. That manager never returned our last phone call, we gave up. There’s layers of gate keepers to get through to decision makers. In short, Vacasa was less than responsive, although they send a lot emails asking how things are. Vacasa gets a 2. The owner did try to make amends by delivering 5 gallon water jug for filtered water dispenser, purchased a brand new microwave, and adjusted the thermostat to stop turning on in the middle of the night, fixed motion detector on patio. Generally responsive. Flaviu gets a 4. The condo is remodeled and attractive, very contemporary, big screen TV, bed was comfortable, and most things needed are there now for future guests.
