Not a great experience

We ran into a lot of issues during our stay that hopefully can be remedied for the next guests. The dishwasher wasn't functioning, the washer was broken and left all of our clothes soaking wet. The master shower had hair stuck to the wall and an old washcloth sitting in it when we got there. The drain on the master bath wasn't working. The owner started off fairly responsive but by the 2nd day he stopped responding to our issues completely. Based on our experience, I would not recommend.

Need a ZERO star option for this property!

I made the mistake of not checking the one subpar review on this property. Upon arrival, the front yard of the house was disheveled and not maintained whatsoever. Backyard was far worse. Had to gather and bag four large bags of trash along the side of the home. Yard was overgrown with weeds and was absolutely disgusting. Dishwasher was still inoperable as mentioned in the previous review. Owner didn't show to repair as he promised. Linen closet was crammed with filthy towels, blankets and oddities. Home was uncomfortably dirty... definitely not cleaned professionally after the last stay. I checked out after two nights and rented another VRBO. I am currently working with VRBO to resolve this mess. Please always check reviews as this property should not be rented!

Owner lies and doesn't follow through, renters beware

Upon arrival of our two month stay this is what was missing. No hand towels, no wash cloths, no remote for the TV, no grill, food crumbs and socks in and under the couches, no vacuum cleaner, no swiffer, no way to clean any of the floors, dishwasher not working. The owner said he would take care of these items ASAP but "randomly" fell sick and I was told his team would fix everything. After two weeks and multiple promises, nothing was repaired or supplied. We finally went and spent $300 of the supplies we needed. Later during our stay the water was shut off because they didn't pay their bill, they claimed the city shut off the wrong property and the door key pad broke and the house was unlocked for 3 days before they repaired it with 2 batteries. We never got the vacuum they promised to drop off, the dishwasher which we they said just stopped working, hasn't worked since August, read previous review. The last week of our stay he offered me $1,000 for my troubles and in hopes I would never write this review. After nealry 3 months he still has not sent me the money he and his assistant Tahlia offered us as compensation. His company name is Onyx Vacations, I would never rent this house or from this owner again because he is dishonest. Renters beware.
