Great location and rental space but some concerns

This was a great location; the apartment was updated and very clean and the right size for the two of us; the grounds and amenities/pool were very nice; the bed was comfortable. However, there were some annoyances that could prohibit a future stay: - the key fob was missing to certain amenities - a previous guest had accidentally taken off with it; we notified management and they apologized but the situation was never rectified. - there were no filters for the coffee pot, not all ceiling lights/fans worked, not all electrical sockets worked, the couch/furniture were not the most comfortable, and frequently we heard dogs barking. - on our last day we walked into the apartment and there was an employee there stocking supplies in a locked cabinet - we were not notified of him coming and it was somewhat of an uncomfortable situation for everyone.

Great location in North Scottsdale

The location of this unit and the amenities in the apartment complex are top notch. Great pool and fitness center. It’s a very short walk to Kieland Commons and the Quarter which have a lot of shops and restaurants. The property manager communicated very well and was responsive in addressing some minor issues in the unit. The biggest negative we faced was that the property advertised a King bed but it only had a Queen bed. This wasn’t the best situation since I was specifically looking for a king bed. The property manager did work with us and provide me a credit but I would have rather had a King bed to be honest. The other thing that was weird in the apartment is that the furniture is very small. It’s almost miniature - the bed, the nightstands, the kitchen table are all very small. The unit is a good size and can definitely handle normal sized furniture. Not sure why they chose such small furniture. I would stay at this location again if I was sure the unit had a king bed - I can live with the miniature furniture but it does look strange - it is not the proper scale for the space.

Bad mattress

Needs a new mattress. Mattress sagged in the middle and had to climb out of bed We had to sleep on the fold out sofa. Not sure sheets were clean. So we washed them. Floors. Definitely not swept

Clean unit - good property

We had a problem with the lock key pad that required an 11P call to a locksmith. The customer service was great but Cozy Suites didn’t have reps on site They switched us to another location (at our request). It was a larger unit. Both properties had great work out facilities, great pools and business centers. A good ‘utilitarian’ property at a good price..
