The lady who assisted our check-in (the owner I presume) went above and beyond helpful when the tap to pay machine was malfunctioning. She tried for 20 solid minutes, was understanding about us not having cash

Quiet and close to the rail system as well as walking distance from shopping. Hotel is more of an extended stay hotel, staff was friendly and the other customers kept to themselves.

The bed was soft I liked how the air was already on and nice and cool when it is starting to heat up outside. Everything in the room was positioned well and even the utensils was clean and the microwave. Great price for lodging

Good for the price and very quiet. A little run down but overall worth the 50 a night. Annoyed they kept 10 from my deposit to go towards a cleaning fee for their maids. Room wasn't so clean at check in though. Found hairs all over bathroom including pubic hair in bathtub so maybe hire a new maid who knows how to clean properly if keeping deposits for that reason. I'm giving them a 6 out of ten overall because it was nice enough for such a bargain and very peaceful as far as tenant noise. Exterior was clean but giving a 3 out of ten on cleanliness due to hairs in bathroom.

I’m quite easy to please when I get a room at a hotel or motel. I am just happy if the place is clean and has a good bed. This place is the most disgusting place I have ever stayed at. The carpet is stained and filthy, the floor is filthy and sticky, there were stains on the bed cover and the chairs, the shower curtain makes you feel like puking just looking at it. There are chairs just outside the room that look like they have been urinated on. I actually cannot believe a hotel or motel can be so filthy. I took some pictures to post but it doesn’t seem there’s a link to post. I will never stay there again and I recommend you choose another place.

Run...dont stay there

This was a total dump and bad place. Door lock didnt work! The dead bolt for electronic lock just spun around the bolt never came out. Lady told me i couldnt park in space it was hers she lived there for over 3 years it was hers and I needed to move my car! There was drug activity. The room had exposed wires, wood rot between floor and walls it needs repairs . Kid at front desk very nice but place is NOT a place you want to be. Unsafe! Run! I am waiting on refund. Dont stay there. Felt like the hood! Not safe area!!! We DID NOT STAY ASKED FOR REFUND. HOTELS NEED TO REFUN OUR MONEY!! NOT WHAT PICTURES SHOWED! WE RAN FOR OUR LIVES! WENT TO TRUCK STOP SLEPT IN OUR CAR MUCH SAFER!!!

The important things were clean--sheets/towels, table/counters/sinks, bathroom. The rest looked like it hadn't been scrubbed or updated since this place was probably new and spiffy in the 70's. Shower was quite nice--clean, hot water, good pressure. On-site staff were nice. They wanted to see proof of pre-payment on my phone when checking in. When calling beforehand, the manager off-site seemed abrupt. Saw one little roach during the night eyeing the table from the wall above--perhaps it knew where it's meals came from. I scared it away, cleared the table, and tell myself it didn't return. Can't say I've never seen a lone roach in a decent hotel before. Roosters started crowing around 3am. This is an urban area. There was a $25 cash deposit that was refunded after the room was inspected upon checkout ($10 "cleaning fee" withheld if one doesn't take out the trash/wash used dishes). It was an experience--the more I looked around, the less I felt like touching anything unnecessary. I'm sure it used to be nice--would help even if just replaced pillows and washed the bedspread. During checkout, I was kindly encouraged to write a review. Maybe other rooms are nicer.

What I would like to say is that first of all I paid $25 for early check-in. I was only there for not even 10 minutes and did not return until 2.5 hrs later and was still charged the early check in fee then I went to go take a shower when I came back 2 hours later to take a shower and when I turn the water on hot, I can say it went up maybe in 1° and that was it therefore I was not able to take a hot shower due to no hot water for the shower but get this the sink got burning hot lol. What is up with that? The main reason why I rented a hotel room last night was to take a nice hot shower and sleep in a nice comfortable bed which neither one of those happened but what did happen is I have a sore back now from the mattress, which means now I get to go to the chiropractor and spend more money. This is not how my New Year’s was supposed to happen. I didn’t wanna start my New Year’s off like this. This is ridiculous and when it was mentioned to the staff, nobody gave a damn no apologies whatsoever, no nothing I should’ve gotten both deposits back for 25 which equals $50 I only got one deposit back which was a security deposit which they want to try and charge me $10 for. I cleaned my room as per their rules never ever have been like this in my life. Nevertheless, I must say that Del Rio motel in Mesa, Arizona started my year 2025 off in a negative. That’s not cool.

When i tried to check in the receptionist put me on hold to text someone for several minutes on 4 different occasion's, took what should have been a standard check-in experiance to taking over 30 minutes.Bed was reasonably comfortable for the price. However there were two cigarrete burn holes in my sheets. Additionally the lack of decent wi fi is pretty bad in this day and age but for the price can be forgiven. What cannot be forgiven is the outright hostile and rude manner in which the hostess treated me. She had her employee come pounding on my door 40 minutes after i checked in saying that there was something wrong with my payment. fair enough i thought, its annoying and inconvenient but they have a right to make sure they're paid. Come to find out there actually was no problem with my payment with my credit card but rather she was freaking out because my name wasnt on the reciept.... which to my knowledge is neither required nor unusual practice. To be clear there was no problem with my payment and it was accepted. She then outrightly and without cause or provocation accused me of fraud. She literally called my bank to try and get them to give her my personal details and my bank did their job and hung up on her. Having been foiled there she then demanded that I pay her using a debit card, to which i agreed on condition that i receive a refund receipt. The whole experience was awful, i have never been treated so poorly by a hotel. Please avoid this place at all costs.
