House was decent but lacking basic amenities
Overall the house was slightly run down, and difficult to spend a family vacation.
The house was very clean, spacious, and the pool was perfect. But,
1) The layout didn't offer a good place for the kids to play, lots of tile, and very thin carpets.
2) The projector was on the first day we got there, but barley visible because it was light outside. If its light, that room is basically unusable. After the first day, the projector wouldn't go on.
3) The kitchen has bare minimum cooking utensils. We tried to cook two dinners at the house, and couldn't find the necessary baking pans and measuring cups. (They did drop some off but it was too late)
4) The dishwasher is broken. When we arrived all the plates and utensils in the cupboards were dirty. After hand washing them, using and trying to use the dishwasher (the top rack doesn't pull out), we noticed that after the cycle the dishes were still dirty.
5) The smoke alarm batteries were going off in the middle of the night. We had to unplug the system, to avoid the beeping, creating a danger if there was an actual fire. It took them over 24 hours to come out and replace the battery.
6) The internet is slow and TVs don't connect. We couldn't get any of the TVs, including the outdoor one, to connect to the internet. They are smart tvs providing access to netflix, hulu, etc. But it just kept spinning, limiting us to live TV.
7) Only provided very limited soap, toilet paper, and 1 roll of paper towels, for a week long stay.
