The neighborhood doesn't feel very safe. The home had some small cockroaches and was run-down inside and out. I got hives within 10 minutes of being there, likely due to the poor conditions

Staff was very nice and welcoming. There’s lot of good food choices around but the room was very dirty and had not been cleaned. We switched to a new room and checked out within a few hours. There were stains on the couch, holes on the curtains. We were scared to sit or touch anything and there were roaches everywhere. Loud kids playing outside. It was not ideal at all

Complete nightmare. Once I arrived to find out it's an apartment complex and I had to fill out a lease agreement. I am extremely exhausted I want to do is get some sleep. Also I am supposed to pay a deposit for things broken or chipped however no one is doing a walk through with me so how can they prove that someone else didn't already break or trip things. Extremely concerned. Person who answered the phone said I can contact Expedia to get a refund

Very much older, grimy. Not all the lights works, counter was sticky. Bed was worn/formed on each side. Only one blanket. Folks shifting through the trash bins outside. The cockroachs where an added surprise. Cheap - get what you pay for.

***DO NOT STAY HERE!!!*** If I could leave a negative star, I would! This property is falsely advertised, as it’s as a living community where unrented rooms are rented out and labeled as “deluxe” studios. The rooms don't have keys (or key cards) but rather key pads and you are given a post-it-note with the code to get in. When I went to my room the door unlocked upon turning the handle, no code needed. When I went in the key pad was disconnected and only the deadbolt worked. When I went to the front desk to complain, they sent a maintenance worker and they confirmed it didn’t work and left, never to come back. I had to go back to the front desk and they said they were going to try and get it fixed but they could not guarantee it would get fixed that day. I told them I felt unsafe staying in a room that didn't lock. They said there was nothing they could do, so I told them I wanted to check out. They said that was my choice. I then asked for proof of checking out and that said “we don’t do that. We just knock on the doors and if no one answers then we consider them as checked out.” When I asked about getting refunded they said I had to do that through Expedia. It was an absolutely horrible experience, and that’s not mentioning the drug use I witnessed in the parking lot as well as the “watching” by residents of any new people entering the property. Please do your favor and stay clear of this property!!

Arrived at 11pm and had to check in via phone after being told that the office would be upon our arrival which it was not. Room was filthy, killed three cockroaches, smelled of musty long term smoking in unit. Cabinets in disrepair and damaged, dirt streaks 6’ on the ceilings from the A/C vent. In less than an hour, I booked accommodations at a different location beginning the next day. Booking Phoenix Metro through Expedia but they would not respond back to Expedia when I requested a refund. No refund provided. To ge honest, I’m more upset with Expedia than with Phoenix metro for not resolving this issue. Took numerous photos of the dirt and disrepair which can’t be shared on this format. DO NOT RENT HERE. I wish I had known before hand and having to pay twice for accommodations in Phoenix.

It's just an apartment complex that rents out unused apartments. Trash everywhere, tenants just going about their business (as they should, since they actually live there), staff smoking out front even though it's a fine to smoke in your "extended stay suite", drugs being smoked on the other side of the lot, and it looks nothing like the photos. Requested a cancelation but since neither I nor expedia can reach the property, I was offered a "goodwill" credit. First time booking with expedia and never will again. They don't vet the places they tell us to stay, then do not care about your safety, then offer you basically nothing for a room you never even checked in to because it was so unsafe. Save yourself book the headache and the money

Review of Metro Phoenix Extended Stay I would not recommend anyone to stay at Metro Phoenix Extended Stay, and I deeply regret my experience there. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this was not a place worth spending money on. First, I was greeted by a horrible roach infestation in the room. It was disgusting to see bugs crawling around in the space that I was supposed to be staying in. It felt unsanitary and unsafe, making it impossible to feel comfortable. To make matters worse, the area surrounding the property was sketchy and unsettling. There were homeless individuals sleeping outside, and the entire environment gave off an unsafe vibe. This is not a place where you would feel secure. The room itself was no better. It reeked of urine, and there were visible holes in the walls. It was clear that maintenance and cleanliness were not priorities for the management here. Despite all of this, the most frustrating part was the non-refundable deposit. Even though I chose not to stay due to the roach infestation, unsafe surroundings, and overall unpleasant conditions, I was still charged for the deposit. This feels like a scam, especially when the hotel was not up to even basic standards of cleanliness or safety. In short, I would strongly advise anyone to avoid Metro Phoenix Extended Stay. Save yourself the hassle, time, and money. There are plenty of other places in the area that will offer a better experience—without roaches, unsafe conditions, and foul odors. This

What upset me was they wouldn't room my deposit over for me to extend my stay out price match the lowest on line price for that exact hotel and room like studio 6 does other than that I liked it much better but I did see a couple roaches unfortunate pretty control and clean garbage cans could rid that problem big bathtub I liked that and fun kitchen with stove and oven kits to like lots to dislike but I will stay here again so because of the room size and kitchen it's fully stocked with cooking and eating pots pans and what not to cook with and eat on

This property should not be listed and offered as a hotel. The property is mostly occupied by people who are already leaving there. Upon arrival everything seemed pretty good. Tesa helped me check in and thankfully we got there a few minutes before they closed the lobby. Since the online check in didn't work. So if you get there past 8 the lobby and front desk is closed. The outside area smelled like marijuana. People visibly smoking outside even thought its not permitted. The area was already looking bad but we still got out and headed to our rooms. First room door handle was broken of like someone forced their way in. So we headed towards the secon room. We walked to a kitchen with cockroaches, a stained couch, doors with holes, weird smell, uncleaned bathroom. We hurried picked our stuff and left. Nothing felt clean about the rooms and was unsafe. The pictures posted are not the reality of this place.
