Peaceful, beautiful, will return
We struggled with the VRBO app as they made changes. The owner was prompt with all questions and had to be a little creative to get what we needed to us. We enjoyed the quiet, the turtle doves, with the screened in porch looking out to the lake being our go to spot. The beds and bedding made our sleep comfortable. I will return if I go to Phoenix again.

We were very pleased with this property. It was clean and had many appreciated conveniences. Close to many restaurants and stores. Nice walking path around the lake with ducks, geese, and turtles. We would definitely recommend this property.

Phoenix Neighbothood
We enjoyed our stay in Phoenix but felt that we had to drive a lot to get to local attractions. The pool and the hot tub were great.

I think you misunderstood that the rating was for our condo and community, not for the distance to places that you choose to visit during your stay as that varies for each guest. However, everyone USUALLY comments about how conveniently located we are to get everywhere in Phoenix. Thank you for staying with us...Millie

Luxe Lakeshore living at its best!
Super quiet, great location, comfortable decor. Millie is caring and on top of things. Grounds are beautiful, used the hot tub every night and loved walking around the lake after dinner. Convenient to I-17 to Hop on for our hiking adventures.

Perfect Oasis
We had a wonderful stay. Thank you Millie for being very responsive and thinking of everything. The unit is equipped with everything you need from pool towels to board games. It is in a very convenient location - close to a lot. We will definitely consider staying here again when we return to Phoenix.

Best Experience booking on VRBO
Let me start by saying that everything about this process and experience was top notch. My family and I were traveling to Phoenix for my graduation from GCU. Communication was quick, open, honest, and flexible. Millie was quick to answer any questions I had, and helped tremendously with accommodating our travel arrangements to make sure we had access to the unit upon our arrival in Phoenix. This property was conveniently located (within 20 minutes of everywhere we needed to go.) The community was clean, quiet, residents were extremely kind, and so many amenities. The pool was a nice size, hot tub that was actually hot, there were 2 tennis courts, and a lake with a walking trail. The condo was decorated beautifully!! The upgrade choices were so smart and really made the condo feel like home. My mom passed away 8 years ago, and she used to collect elephants. For her they are a symbol of strength, family, and courage. This condo was decorated so elegantly. Elephant decor adorned the condo. It made me feel like my mom was there with me for this special occasion. Millie thought of everything!! They provided pool towels, pool noodles, tennis racquets, pickleball equipment, fishing rods and pretty much anything you can think of that you needed. The most impressive attention to detail was "All Things Phoenix" binder. This binder had lists of things to do, places to eat, directions on how to get there, details of ordering delivery, and more. I would stay here over & over again.

Beautiful 2br/2bth in a great location. Super clean with everything you would need for a relaxing stay. Views over the lake were awesomr and swimming pool was never crowded. Check-in manual was very helpful with activities and restaurants in the area. 5 Star for sure!

Great place!
Our stay was great. The check in process was easy and we were given all the instructions we needed before hand. The condo was exactly as advertised and was clean and well stocked with everything we could possibly need. Including a binder full of suggestions for the best restaurants, things to do, and attractions in the area. The pool was lovely and we had it mostly to ourselves. Our only complaint would be that the pool was a little dirty and when we turned on the hot tub it was full of bugs. Otherwise the rest of the pool area and the facility was clean and fairly quiet. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend staying here.

Wished it could have been better.
The accommodations were top notch. Very clean and comfortable. Just bad luck with the pool not being available due to the pump not working. The owner tried her best to fix the situation, but was at the mercy of the pool company making the repairs. Her offer to discount our stay was greatly appreciated.

Perfect Spring Break Break
I can’t say enough about how welcome we felt - from having a kitchen that was ready to go, to clean comfortable beds, an amazing screened porch that invited lingering over breakfast. This condo was exactly as advertised. The property manager checked in with us to make sure everything was okay and left a list of things to in the area. Not a single detail was missed. Highly recommend!

Simply the best!
We were thrilled to have time in this lovely property on the lake in North Phoenix. The interior furnishings and appointments in the unit exceeded our expectations, and as many, many others have said, being able to walk daily (multiple times) around this 1 mile lake is a true gift. Communication with the owners was prompt, professional and a pleasure, the unit had everything we needed (and more), and location afforded us easy access to all that the Phoenix and Scottsdale area have to offer. We would highly recommend this unit to those considering it!

Lake Retreat in the Urban Dessert
The first day we walked in and I opened the curtain and before us is a little lake! Just beautiful complete with ducks and geese. Has a one mile walking path around it. My husband says I picked a "winner" and knocked it out of the park! Close to I 17 and easy to get to. The development is VERY clean and pleasant. The African animal decor theme is nice, everyone enjoyed! This one is a great value.

Peace and Relaxation
My wife and I wanted to spend 12 days just relaxing. This condo and the Desert Shores community delivered everything that we were looking for during our stay. This spacious unit has all that we wanted and more. Although we ate out daily, the well equipped kitchen had everything that was needed had we opted to do our own meals. Our nights were spent having a dip in the heated pool, followed by a soothing soak in the hot tub. The walking trail around the lake provides relaxation and fantastic scenery. Nights were very comfortable in the king bed and heat was no issue with the A/C and ceiling fans. This was a great vacation and we certainly hope to come back in the future.

Beautiful Condo in an Amazing Setting
We had an amazing week in this lovely condo. I spent every morning on the deck watching the wildlife on the lake. The condo was clean, well equipped and comfortable. We hope to return in the spring!

We enjoyed the pond - it made for a nice morning walk and pretty view from the patio. The unit was clean and well organized. Beds were very comfortable. One disappointment was that the hot tub water was cold. Other than that, a very pleasant experience.

Great rental
We rented this condo for a college visit to GCU and it worked very well for our needs. The rental is a 15 minute drive to campus. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed. We chose the unit for the heated pool and the walking path around the lake which was lovely. The property owner reached out to make sure we had everything we needed. Would rent again.

Very Nice Property
The purpose of my stay was to explore Phoenix and the surrounding area in preparation for retirement travel/living. The condo was very nice, comfortable and very well stocked & supplied. Communication with Millie went very smoothly. Whoever is responsible for the upkeep and cleaning of the property does an exemplary job. I would really like to stay here again. Great Central Phoenix Location
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo! It was clean and the king bed comfortable. The condo's patio does not receive any sun, which we were looking for the first part of February, however, were able to find it at the pool and the lawn area outside the condo. Enjoyed walking around the large pond each day. Very relaxing stay!!

Great Central Location & Property
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Easy check in and the condo was very clean. Lots of dishes, cookware, coffee maker and other kitchen appliances. Location was perfect for day excursions to hiking trails and restaurants. The screened in outdoor space facing the lake the community pool and jacuzzi were great. The place was very quiet at night and the beds were very comfortable. I would definitely stay at this place again if we return to Pheonix. Millie and staff were also very responsive.
