This is not a hotel- it’s an apartment building that I assume wasn’t selling so they are pretending to run a hotel out of it. Upon check in they pulled out a binder full of random key fobs and then assigned it to a room, and said the room number to the room full of people. The AC was not on and when I turned it on it did not ever get cooler than 78 degrees in the apartment, even overnight. At 10:30pm someone was able to unlock my room and if I hadn’t put a separate door lock on, would have been able to walk right into my room. It was very scary and I reached out to three different numbers for this location before someone responded to me- the text line and the chat through Expedia did not get a response until the morning, and I had to use a number from my original booking email to get someone on the phone. She was uncaring and just kept saying it had been taken care of— I did not feel safe. Instead of a refund they offered 30% off my next stay— what a slap in the face.

The parking was done by a 3rd party enterprise. Hotel staff could have been more helpful by letting us know that we had to scan back in during after hours. Cleanliness was superb and our suite was lovely.

Room was clean, staff is friendly, I did not visit the pool area and I did not have time to cook in the kitchen. The kitchen seemed to be ready for use with just enough utensils. The washer and dryer are a nice touch for those who want to take their used clothes home clean.

No local TV, only Roku. Room temp never dropped below 74 no matter how low thermostat was set, and no "light block" curtain for late sleepers. Nice pool area, but no hot tub. Kitchen was nice to have, but didn't use. Everything else very nice and comfortable.

Poolside seating was comfy and entire pool area was beautiful but this place felt like more of an apartment complex, not a hotel at all. Way finding was difficult to navigate through to find and access the amenities. Entryways were “cautioned” off so access to the pool to inconvenient since the stair access was locked. Just didn’t feel as welcoming as what we were looking for.

What a wonderful stay for a group! You won’t find a better apartment/multi-bedroom suite for this price. The property is super modern and clean and the amenities are top-notch. The pool is so so nice and really well maintained. We stayed in February and it was heated to the perfect temp :) Can’t recommend enough!

The staff was very nice. The rooms were beautiful. The pool was not in use at the time, but I would have liked to check it out. Overall my stay was great and close to so many places downtown.

The facility itself was clean and had everything we needed. We were however, disappointed to find out that the pool never gets sun during the time we were there (February). We ended up purchasing additional resort passes in the city to use their pools. Nice facilities but not ideal at all.

We had a great stay at Placemakr Downtown Phoenix. Our room was a fully furnished studio, including oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer and dryer en suite. The building is new, and the room was very clean. Well connected to public transportation, convenience stores (CVS, Fry's) a few blocks away (~10 minute walking distance). The 22nd floor has a game room, a business room with computers and a printer, a media room, and a shared open space room. There's a nice break room with free coffee on the ground floor of the building adjacent to Placemakr, which also has an outdoor swimming pool and can be accessed using the fob that opens our room.

This was the perfect stay. Like an apartment/hotel in one. All the amenities, loved having a washer and dryer in unit, loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom, friendly and available staff, and great location. The only thing I wish they had was an additional bolt or the top lock latch like some hotels have. As a woman traveling solo, that would have made me feel a little more comfortable.
