For some reason, during my stay, I couldn't get hot water from the tap or in the shower -- it's not a big deal since it's in a hot region and a cool shower is preferable, but in case you must have your warm or hot shower, keep that in mind. The manager arranged transport to the border, and his son accompanied us there, then hired a van to take us from the Thai departure desk to the Myanmar immigration window.
