不滿：職員與服務、設施服務和住宿狀況
Baffled by the glowing reviews. We couldn't wait to leave.
Photos show a sparkling clean place; our expensive "deluxe" room was shabby. Linens clean, but I've never slept on a worse mattress -- miserable, rock hard, ancient; I slept on the floor the last night. Bathroom: dingy and mildewed, and the walls of the whole place were covered in marks. Dust on high surfaces. Bathroom window was disgusting, and no screen. A super strong citronella candle was burning, which made me nauseous. The shampoo and soap dispensers in the shower were gross. Shower fluctuates wildly from scalding hot to freezing.
Dirty kettle. Window looked out on the hallway. We could hear every sound outside the room, including the kitchen and laundry (all night), screaming baby, drunk people yelling.
One of the outlets was broken. The safe and refrigerator didn't work, and when I asked for a discount because of that, they refused. They switched the fridge and it still didn't get cool (not even cold enough to safely put leftovers in or cool a beer), and they told us this is normal.
My friend asked for the advertised beach towels, the guy told her to use the room towels, and after arguing, was super rude about finally giving her one shabby towel. Veggie sandwich I ordered at the bar came on stale bread. Staff other than one manager very rude.
Of hundreds of hostels and hotels, and this was one of the worst experiences. I don't think I've ever implied reviews were fake before, but I can't help but wonder.
