For the $44 price, I got a one bedroom apartment and loved it. The free breakfast was great, the staff was amazing and the beach view by breakfast was insane. It’s not completely modern but it’s great! Def worth it

Staff was very lovely. The garden was really convenient to be able to touch some grass. The ocean view with the mountain back drops were gorgeous. Epic sunsets when the sky is clear. Hotel accomodations were excellent. The locals in the town were smiley and friendly. I enjoyed my stay and I had a pleasure meeting guests from around the world.

The hotel room was quite nice and clean and had great air conditioning, as well as shampoo/conditioner/gel, and the staff was good. This made for a great few days of get-out-of-town relaxation. However, be advised: there is little to do within walking distance, swimming is highly tide-dependent due to rocks, and the area is rather well-populated with Russians. I’m glad I stayed here for a few days away from adventuring, but 5 was too many.

Good stay in By the Sea. Lovely and friendly staff. The rooms were clean, big and have really good sea views. The bed was comfortable and overall the state of our rooms were exemplary. We were provided with a beach bag with mat, towels and umbrella. Perfect for days out on the beach! Breakfast options were rather limited as you have to order your hot food as opposed to buffet. There is buffet though for fruits, salads and pastries. The location was perfect for a quiet stay in Phuket. Would recommend renting a car though if planning to do touristy stuff as it’s quite far from the main touristy areas. Overall, lovely stay.

We stayed at the one bedroom room and the sea views were breathtaking. The area is super quiet which i loved it as we did a day trips to the busy areas like patong and karon which is just about 30 min ride motorbike, and went back to our super quiet area :) There are currently construction around the area, probably building more resorts but it didn't bothered us at all, Not noise from our beatiful room. Staff super friendly. Overall everything clean and a great selection at the breakfast buffet. Laundry room available if you need washing and drying your clothes for 200 bht including softener and detergent( provided at reception) They also provide water daily at the room when we requested the room service We really enjoyed our stay at by the sea, thank you team!!

This property wasn’t exactly what we expected. We feel it’s important for others to be aware Pros: * property is beach front - the pool deck connected directly to the beachfront. It’s cool to watch the tide come and go twice a day * DIY laundry available which was nice * nice view of sunsets from the room balcony. Cons: * the room had a nasty/musty smell. It was terrible going into the room each day * construction on BOTH sides of the resort until late in the evening that was very noisy. Looks like it will be going on for a long time as resort next store just started construction. * pool was quite small * restaurant open only until 4:30. No other dining options unless we walked far down the beach. And even then, very limited options in this area. * pics are made out to look a lot nicer but rooms are old and outdated

La habitación anunciada aquí no se parece a la que te dan, la recámara es obscura y sin ventanas, la habitación es tipo departamento por lo que la ventana está en la sala, el chico de la recepción que me recibió no me explicó nada y muy lento para hacer el check in, el restaurante es bueno, el área de alberca muy buena y la mayor ventaja es que está en la orilla del mar

Hotellet virker slidt og forfaldent. Der var gammelt skrald i den ene skraldespand ved ankomst. Da vores baby kravlede rundt på gulvet, blev hendes ben helt sorte af skidt (første dag). Der manglede toiletpapir og håndsæbe da vi ankom. Pool har grøn algekant hele vejen rundt. Skabe og skuffer knirker og sidder i spænd, så vi ikke kan bruge dem! Vandskader i loftet er lappet med tape (2 steder er loftet blødt og forfaldent). Da vi bruger kogepladen, kommer der røg ud af skufferne under. Der var ved at gå ild i det! En nat det regner, kommer der vand ind på gulvet. Køkkenet i lejligheden, er uden fyldestgørende service og ingen babystol til rådighed. Heller ingen ordentlige babystole i restauranten. Dvs baby kan udenvidere falde ned … det er praktisk talt bare en højere voksenstol. På hjemmesiden står der, at de har Jacuzzi, den så vi ikke noget til. De skriver også:“order delicious drinks and snacks whenever you desire.“ Men deres restaurant lukker kl 14.30. Vi synes ikke det var pengene værd! Det positive ved stedet er: de er hurtige til at fikse tingene, personalet er venligt, gryderne i lejligheden var pæne og nye, strandtaske og strandtæpper til rådighed på værelserne. Og også udsigten, størrelsen på værelset og gratis lån af cykler.

Satisfactory

Overall was satisfactory. In a seclude part of Phuket, good for spending times with loves one or family. the Wifi is very slow and distorted, so this keep you away from your phone on device, instead focusing on total relaxation.

Fun in the sun

We have just returned from anther fantastic holiday at By The Sea. This is the 5th time we have stayed there and will be booking again next year. I would like to thank Suwaree and her team for going out of their way to make our holiday most enjoyable. No request was too much effort. The rooms are fantastic. We were a party of 5 (My Mom, my wife, and 2 children aged 7 and 10) and we fitted comfortably into 1 suite. This hotel is perfect for young families and couples looking for a relaxing holiday away from the hubbub of Patong. The hotel is isolated so if you are looking for night life this is possibly not for you. There is however a daily bus that will take you into Phuket Town should you want to do any shopping. There is also a 7/11 and Family Mart within walking distance should you need any supplies. The hotel backs right onto beach with restaurants within walking distance. I have 2 minor requests 1) more chairs around pool and 2) a microwave in the rooms. Thanks again Suwaree for a fantastic holiday.

A quite place to stay

The room is spacious and tidy. I love the bag (with two towels and a beach mat) they provide for going to the beach, which is very considerate. The view is also excellent especially for the sunset. Since the rocks are quite sharp underneath the water, we only do canoeing (the resort also provides it for free!!!). You can have food and self laundry services (another thing I really love since the washing machine also dries the clothes, it’s so much convenient) at a cheap price.

The staff at the hotel were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We were late in coming back from our half day tour and late for our checkout, but the staff were understanding and accommodating. We found our suite comfortable. However, the toilet in our room was broken and leaking and could not be resolved during our stay. The WiFi was also weak on the premises. That said, this is a great resort if you want a quiet and restful weekend.
