The property is situated just outside the main Kamala district, walkable but a small taxi fee if you wish. My wife & I enjoyed the quiet, slow pace of the resort; just what we were looking for.

Need some lifts to the rooms for older people ,stairs are too unsafe for older people, and also need proper ramps with railings on the slopey areas on the property .Also need walkin showers in all the rooms ,the deep bath is too dangerous for older people .

Namaka Resort

The resort was very good. What would make it excellent is if the restaurant and bar service is better. When ordering appetizer and main meal, the maineal.sometines come before the appetizer. Thw nar service os also very slow. The rest of the staff amd facility was excellent.

This property is lovely - especially if you book the deluxe sea view suite. This resort is located on Kamala beach which I loved because it was away from the hustle and bustle of mainland Phuket. There’s also a free shuttle to and from the beach which was very convenient! Initially there was a mix-up with the room I booked - however the resort corrected this issue with a very nice credit that I could use on the resort. Thank you for the hospitality!!

Rooms were nice and spacious and had a stunning view, but a freshen up of paint and furniture marks would be welcome. However, service was slow in all areas, and communication with staff was difficult at times.

Amazing stay at Namaka.

The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are clean with comfortable beds. We had early morning tours and the hotel staff made sure that we had towels and breakfast boxes ready to go by 5 AM. When we arrived back in the late afternoon, the hotel is a short taxi ride to great restaurants for dinner and shopping.

What a great resort

As soon as we arrived the hotel staff were amazing and so helpful. The hotel is situated on a steep hill but the bell staff were always on hand with electric carts to help you to and from your room and help with bags. The breakfast buffet included with our room was also fantastic. A really broad offering of traditional and world foods with eggs cooked to order and fresh fruit, pastries, and hot food. The hotel has two pools, one with a swim up bar. All facilities were clean and modern but the friendliness of the staff really made it for us. Thanks to all at Namaka resort

This isn’t a five star hotel at all. Our room was stinking mole and drane. Dirty areas and bad service from front desk. However the staff that was driving the cars were super nice and very service minded.

Property is good but located very far from any market. Even for grocery or pharmacy shop you have to book a cab as nothing is at walkable distance. If you want to travel to Patong consider paying already 1200 tbh for a round trip using grab .

Gould be better compared the price - location good

The hotel is quite old and need daily maintenance which apparently is not done because some of the outdoor furniture was moldy. Every day something was missing from the room, towels, water etc etc even though it should have been.

The property needs renovation, painting , changing of outdoor items. For example my balcony I didn’t feel the urge to sit out there. The seatings had mildew, the painting was rusty. There were cobwebs in my room. Lots of bugs comes in at night. The upkeep needs to be done. For my appearance means a lot to me. And I personally think repainting would lift it up a bit. Also, an elevator. Those stairs are killers.

Good spot, nothing special

Overall good hotel in the Kamala beach area. Good location within walking distance to the town center. Shuttle to the beach. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Pretty resort with multiple pools. I did find that the food and drinks were overpriced at the hotel and the wifi needed to be reconnected every time we were in the room. Otherwise pretty decent stay.

The property is nestled on the beachfront and very close to Kamala beach. The sea view from the room was breathtaking and the infinity pool was quite amazing. The hourly shuttle service to the beach is also good and adds comfort to your trip to the beach. The staff is also very humble and gentle. Though the food options are quite vast however vegetarian options are very few and thats the only negative i felt. The major saviour is bread, fruits and one or two pure veg dishes. We were travelling with our child and found it a bit difficult to cater to her food requirements. Other than that the overall experience was quite amazing.

Maintenance needs attention, inside villa with pool was lovely however the outside bits falling off, banging during night. Main pools require tiling to be done, a couple of unsafe areas. You are far from Kamala beach, definitely not 15 mins walk, we used shuttle in and some days caught taxi back, 200baht sometimes 140 on the Indrive app. 230baht into Patong 400-500 baht back. Nice quiet place to relax and recommend the villa with plunge pool

3 star hotel

The room was nothing like the pictures on the website. Sink was in the bedroom( not in the bathroom) Bed amd pilllows were hard and not comfortable. Hotel needs updating and definitely not a 5 star. Is a 3 star hotel. Balcony, corridor was dirty. Breakfast was chaos our first morning. Tables were not cleared and food everywhere. No where to store clothes or a suitcase table. I mentioned it was our 20th wedding anniversary and it was not acknowledged. I was very disappointed with the hotel. The views from rooms are good.

Great stay at a quiet resort near Kamala beach

We really enjoyed our stay at Namaka! The resort is very nice, with two separate infinity pools, a swim-up bar, and a poolside restaurant, and the staff is very helpful and accommodating. When we visited the resort wasn't too busy, so there was never a problem finding shady loungers and getting into the pool without it being crowded. A few specific things to note: 1) Several reviews I've seen (both here and on Google) call out the resort for being "dated" and "dirty". My guess is that these are people who booked Namaka as a cheaper option compared to other high-end resorts in the area and are upset when it's not as nice. Is there some slight wear-and-tear in the rooms? Sure, if you want to nit-pick, but it served our purposes just fine and we didn't spend too much time in the rooms anyways so it didn't matter. The rest of the resort felt clean and modern, and for the price it felt like a steal. 2) We opted to pay for the optional breakfast buffet and would highly recommend! It felt like a great deal, with a lot of tasty options, and it runs all morning so you don't have to rush down early to eat. 3) Know going in that Namaka is somewhat far from Kamala beach itself. The hotel does offer a free shuttle, but it mostly runs in the afternoon. We opted to walk instead, which worked fine for us (we like to be active), and the road into town isn't too busy so it felt safe. Bring a flashlight (included in the room) with you if walking the road at night.

Städningen av golven på rummet kunde varit bättre. Men städningen var bra förövrigt. Personalen var mycket hjälpsamma och mycket trevliga! Frukosten var bra med många alternativ. Poolerna var välskötta och vattnet var inte för kallt och svalkade gott.
