“Great home for family of 5. Lots of room, nice kitchen (no dishwasher), nice bathrooms. Living room and porch lets you look right into forest, seeing animals (monkeys, toucans, coati, aguti and countless others). Easy access to nearby cloud forest reserve (even walking to one), cheese factory, coffee and dining. ”

“While the monkeys seemed overwhelming at first, they were fun to watch and not a problem. We loved the layout and the spacious rooms. We could find solitude while still enjoying family gathering space. Its location provides quick access to numerous activities from the Cloud Forest , to a waterfall hike, to zip lining, to breakfast at the bottom of the driveway, to coffee options to town. There are a lot of steps! ”

“Lovely stay. All the reviews are accurate and not much more we can add. Truly the place is a private paradise - the outdoor shower and wildlife and the cloud forest just beyond. Those were some of the highlights for us. Easy to contact owners and they had a number of good suggestions of day trips. Highly recommend!”

I highly recommend the hike on the property. We had a great time zip lining, visiting the hot springs (the waterslide was so fun), volcano hike and chocolate/coffee tour. We also appreciated the great communication before and during our stay. ”
