“Property is fantastic beautiful views and view of small waterfall. Walk around property and enjoy the nature, river, waterfall. Property manager on site was super friendly and helpful. Three story type house. Kids loved the bunk at the top. Easy walk to town for food and groceries. We stopped here between drive from SJO and La fortune and stayed one night then went to blue falls great stop!! ”

“This was by far the nicest place I've ever stayed, and if I ever have the chance to come back to La Fortuna I would rebook here in a second. The houses are spacious, clean and comfortable. Each feels very separate from the others and the whole property is covered in well maintained plants. With the dense foliage and the nature walk, it feels like you are nestled in the jungle and its such an amazing and unique experience. “Struktur von Außen schön und im Grünen gelegen auf einem privaten Grundstück. Haus mit zwei Schlafzimmer. Leider war das Apartment sehr feucht sodass alles sehr modrig roch! Bettwäsche, Bettdecken, komplettes Apartment. Es war drinnen so feucht dass auch zwei Entfeuchter installiert wurden, welche aber bereits mit vollem Behälter waren. Der kleine Heizventilator war nicht ausreichend um die ganzen Räumlichkeiten zu erwärmen und es wahr sehr kalt (Bergregion). Wir haben nur eine Nacht von den……

“My unit was clean and host was responsive and very kind! Everything was cozy and I felt very comfortable. The only difference is there was no full stove and oven it is a hot plate. I was able to cook meals fine but did expect a full stove as pictured. Other than than it was comfy, had a great balcony view, and wonderdul host and host family. I would definitely stay again. Also, there are a few local stores that are in walking distance that I loved exploring and getting necessties from. :)”

“An amazing place with a gorgeous view! Spotlessly clean and very modern. We only stayed one night, sadly, but I would have stayed two despite it being somewhat far from some tourist spots. The sun rises and sets on the other side of the building that this apartment is under so it never gets too hot. We were there in January so not so hot as in summer but still lovely and warm. We never turned on the AC only a fan at night. You can watch parrots and hawks and buzzards fly along in front of the……

“We had a great time at FINCA el Refugio de Papito. The experience will stay with our family forever. The hosts were welcoming, friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a Pura Vida experience. Whether it was fishing in the pond, seeing the sloths, macaws, iguanas, turtles or herons it was fantastic. Their offers of fresh coconut, plantains, and fresh cane juice were well received. Highly recommended and we hope to be back one day. Muchas gracias!”
