“Il Comandante is a large apartment that is located a short walk to the main street of Piedimonte Etneo. It has views of Mt Etna, as well as to the ocean and over Catania. A beautiful view of the city lights at night.Francesca was very welcoming. “My first thought walking in was “too bad it is only for 1 night”. I loved the place and wished we could’ve stayed longer. I was here with 3 cousins and we were leaving out of Catania Airport the next morning. If I am ever back in this area I will be checking to see if this place is available. The town it is located in was so cute, we got takeout from a wonderful place where the food tastes like it came from my Sicilian grandmother!”
