Black Hills Stay

Really enjoyed our stay at this property which is located in a quiet and secluded area. We saw and heard lots of wildlife and the stargazing was phenomenal. Would definitely stay sagain.

Perfect for families

Black Hills Special!

This place is so cute, clean, and in the center of nature - it's absolutely wonderful. The drives to and from the towns were beyond breathtaking too. What a wonderful place to soak in the environment and to unplug from the reality of life. Would highly recommend this place! The owners are wonderful too.

Best place ever

The property is what you'd see in a magazine, very peaceful and beautiful. The owner's are top notch people and make you feel very welcomed. Our kids didn't want to leave at all! We'll be back.

Great place to stay

From great hosts to the cabin itself it was a wonderful stay. From wildlife to beautiful scenery this place had it all. Everything we needed with right there. And driving distance to many of the historic sites. Perfect place! And accessible for wheelchair users😁

Peaceful stay

Cabin and property are beautiful, we Loved our stay there, wish we had booked it for a couple days longer as we ended up staying in Sturgis for 2 nights at a motel that wasn't nice at all. We're hoping to book it for next year again but for 11 or 12 days. So cozy, loved the view, the animals, the seclusion it was all wonderful.

heaven on earth

the house was immaculate,the surrounding property was well taken care of. The scenery was breathtaking. Overall the best trip we have ever taken. The host's were the best we have ever experienced.

Wonderful place.

What a view ! Wildlife came to visit almost every day. Met the owners and they were great. Great place off the road , quiet with so much to do around the area. SxS rental is highly encouraged. We were in SD for 3 weeks and never bored.

Fantastic property. Perfect Stay.

The property was even better than expected. Beautiful surroundings, privacy and close to everything. No more than an hour to hour and half away from all attractions and points of interest. Great owners. Easy communication.

Absolutely perfect!

This cabin was absolutely perfect for us. Everything is as described and then some. Margaret has it decorated and stocked to where you feel like you are at home. Margaret is a gracious host and we enjoyed our bottle of local wine and homemade brownies. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and count it as one of our top destinations.

Black Hills Delight

This was the cleanest and most comfortable home I have stayed in. Margaret and Derito made our stay memorably relaxing. The house was perfect for us and the view from the porch was excellent. I recommend this property highly and we will return. If you want to enjoy the Black Hills this is where you want to be.

Annual anniversary get away.

Great tucked away, cozy, clean cabin. Loved seeing all of the wild life, deer, turkeys and so many birds coming to eat right at the cabin. They have everything you need and more! The owners are so kind and helpful. Can’t wait to stay here again. Thank you!

Perfect getaway

We had an absolute blast at the cabin, was a perfect central location to all of the sights in the hills. Margaret is a great host and has everything you need well stocked in the cabin, with great directions to get to their property if you lose GPS signal, and are super friendly. The bed was very comfortable, and the cabin was the perfect size for two! We will be returning for future vacations out in the hills

AWESOME PLACE!!!!

What a wonderful place to stay with wonderful hosts!!! Loved the quiet and secluded location. Far enough from town to have a quiet stay, but close enough to Sturgis to run into town to get ice cream! Loved the host as they are so nice. The building was very clean and well stocked with all the amenities you need. Loved the fire pit and it was perfect for S'mores. If we come back to the Black Hills we will stay here again. Loved out stay!!!

Very nice & clean cabin

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The cabin was VERY clean (the cleanest cabin/house we have ever stayed in). The owners thought of everything from providing kleenex's, Q-tips, paper towels, laundry soap, etc. The cabin is located in a very quiet spot with lots of wildlife that visited the cabin every day - turkeys, birds and deer. We will definitely go back!!

Amazing place!

I’m a wheelchair user so I take a lot of time when choosing places to stay when I travel. And I was not disappointed! Cabin was great for my kids and I, the hosts were excellent, and the trout pond is a must see! This cabin was exactly what I was hoping for and then some.

Nice Cabin in the Woods

Margaret and Derito made our stay a delight. Their comfortable and well decorated cabin was just as advertised. Our hosts went out of their way to ensure our every need was met and we lacked for nothing right down to the welcoming bottle of wine and a most decadent chocolate dessert made by Margaret. We stayed for six days while we explored all that the So Dakota Black Hills has to offer … a truly memorable vacation spot.
