Relax and recharge
We read the reviess before we booked, and indeed it has a narrow road down to it, but Andrea threw all our bags in his car and ferried us down to his quaint little little villavilla.

Perfect location for a restful summer break
We very much enjoyed staying at Andrea's little house - a lovely location, with local amenities close at hand. The house was well equipped on the whole (the kitchen was the only thing that we felt could do with better resourcing), and the presence of air conditioning was a plus. We enjoyed exploring the local environs very much, and found that there was more than enough to do during our stay. Andrea was a warm and helpful host, and nothing was too much trouble. A lovely break - thank you Andrea!

Spectacular in every way!
Andrea's house is stunningly beautiful, in a gorgeous little town, with a view that is out of this world (olive groves, hilltop Umbrian towns, birds galore, etc.). There is nothing bad about this place - the house is stone and terracotta with a very traditional kitchen, a comfy bed, and two well-appointed bathrooms. There is a TV in every room and they run on Chromecast which allows you to log in to your own accounts (Disney, Prime, Netflix, etc).There is air conditioning, which is absolutely necessary as the house is built into the side of a hill that is in the sun almost all day. And that is why you need the private pool and outdoor shower, with a massive umbrella that shields you from the sun. In the morning (and all day, to be honest) roosters crow, and you can pick the hilltop towns you might want to visit by looking out from the pool (we highly recommend Panicale and Citta della Pieve). This home is so private - we barely saw another human when we were on the pool deck. The town itself has a pharmacy, a bar/cafe, and a mini mart. Nearby there are several supermarkets, and there are restaurants in nearby towns. The shower is fabulous, one of the bathrooms and the kitchen have ancient marble sinks that are super cool, and there is a painting on tiles of the town over the kitchen stove. Behind the house there are two towers, and one of them chimes the time. Advice: Don't arrive at night - the road to the driveway is tiny (we had to pull our side mirrors in) and getting there in the dark was a bit stressful - also, rent a small car! Once you have the hang of the driveway, it's easy peasy. We spent 6 nights here and we cannot wait to return. Andrea told us we were the first Canadians to stay here - I don't think we will be the last as we plan to tell all our friends about this hidden gem.

A wonderful place.
We stayed at La Casetta Nel Bosco in the second week of June and experienced all and more than we were hoping for from our stay. Beautiful views from the; house, pool and dining areas of the hills and valleys. Although not uninterrupted by electrical cables and pylons, this did not detract from our experience of this ideal property. The property is very secluded and the private pool and BBQ area were perfect for hot lazy days and warm evening dining. The house and facilities were very clean and well equipped which made for a relaxing stay. Owner Andrea was friendly and attentive yet very respectful of our privacy whilst staying at the house. Castiglion Fosco is a pretty hamlet ideally situated for trips into Tuscany and Umbria, Perugia a 30 minute drive away. We wholeheartedly recommend this property as a holiday stay. The facilities and location provided were exceptional value for money and made for our perfect holiday in Italy.

Super schön Location mit sehr nettem Vermieter. Wir haben die Ruhe, den Pool und die Landschaft genossen. Nicht der übliche Massentourismus sondern Ruhe und Entspannung pur 👍. Nur zu empfehlen.

Aangename en zeer rustige locatie
PERFECT! Vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaar (= Andrea). Hij kwam 3x/week langs om zwembad en tuin proper en in orde te houden. Vakantiehuis was tip-top in orde. Alle nodige voorzieningen waren aanwezig. Er zijn 2 badkamers met toilet, 1 volwaardige slaapkamer en in 1 kamer kan een zetel tot bed gemaakt worden. Er zijn tevens 3 TV's met cromecast en Netflix. Zowel beneden als boven is er airco. Zeer rustig gelegen in een klein gehucht. Dichtsbijzijnde supermarkten op +/- 5 km (in Tavernelle). De laatste 50m naar het vakantiehuis is steil en héél smal. Met een minibus kom je er niet door. Tip: voorzie ook iets tegen de muggen!

Schönes italienisches Haus mit Pool und toller Aussicht
Schönes Haus, angenehm kühl und alles sehr sauber. Uns hat nichts gefehlt, es gab sogar eine kleine Kaffeemaschine, was in Italien ja eher selten ist. Der Pool und das Grundstück werden von dem netten Vermieter mehrmals die Woche top gepflegt. Da der Weg zum Parkplatz auf dem Grundstück sehr schmal und steil ist, sollte man besser etwas oberhalb parken. Dort gibt es mehrere Parkmöglichkeiten. Der Ort ist sehr klein, was uns nicht weiter gestört hat, da wir oft mit unseren Rädern, oder mit dem Auto unterwegs waren. Wer die Ruhe liebt, wie wir, ist hier genau Richtig.

Geweldig!
We verbleven een week in dit prachtige huis, schoon en netjes. Alles wat je nodig hebt is er. Mooie privé tuin met zwembad en mooi uitzicht. De vriendelijke eigenaar is altijd te bereiken om hulp te bieden waar nodig! We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad!

Wunderbarer Ort zum Erholen
Sehr freundlicher Empfang von Andrea, immer erreichbar bei Problemen. Großzügiges Haus mit allem Komfort, in der Zwischensaison auch mit Zentralheizung. Grosse gemütliche Wohnküche. Überdachte Terrasse mit herrlichem Blick auf den Garten, den Pool und ins Tal. Guter Standort für Ausflüge in die Umgebung ( Trasimenosee, Perugia, Assissi). Hier ist man ganz für sich, wir haben eine sehr schöne und erholsame Zeit hier verlebt!

"Miracoli ist Fertig"
Es ist wie in der Werbung, es fehlt nur die Mama die ihre Kinder zum Essen ruft. Das kleine Dorf ist genau so wie man sich einen ruhigen Urlaub mitten in Italien wünscht. Nicht weit weg ist die Bahnlinie mit der man bequem in 2 Std. nach Rom kommt (beim Preis und Comfort könnte sich die DB noch was abschauen). In etwas mehr als eine Std. ist man an der Adria. Das Haus entspricht 1:1 den Bildern, tip top geputzt, modern eingerichtet mit super Außenanlage. 5 min entfernt gibt es mehrere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Alle 2 Tage kommt abends der super nette Hausverwalter der den Pool säubert und nach dem rechten schaut. Alles in allem ein gelungener Urlaub. Eigentlich 5 Sterne +, nur die Klappcouchen lassen etwas zu wünschen übrig, dadurch nur starke 5 Sterne.
