When booking a king size bed room, please be aware it is across the creek. It is not the building pictured. To get to the pool or office/breakfast area, you will have to drive 4-5 mins to get to it (unless you wade across the water lol). The rooms are the same quality and furnishings. The water view is obstructed by trees some, but still can be seen. Lots of ducks geese and groundhogs. Trolley stop right on the lot. Only posting because it surprised us when we found out at check in. We will continue to stay at Creekside. It’s a great place even on the other side of the creek and having to drive. Breakfast is the best we’ve had

We enjoyed our stay. The only thing that was pretty disappointing was that we were put in their second building across the river. In order to get to breakfast or to the pool you either have to drive or take a quarter of a mile walk around to cross the river. Just be aware when you make reservations you may not be in the red building that is shown in the pictures online. Other than that, the rooms are large, and the front desk staff was very friendly!

What you see on website is NOT what you get!! Terribly dirty- curtains even had old blood on backing, toilet wiggled all over when you sat on it, elevator rug was filthy, along with ice machine which didn't work on either floor- was told to go to gas station and buy some. I did get pictures of ALL these things. Think twice before booking- this was a TERRIBLE experience!!!

This property is ok. The curtains in the room looked like a moth had a feast, there were so many holes in them. The door to the balcony would barely close. The curtains by the access door, which covered the window to the hallway was “Nasty”. The walkway to the rooms was covered in bird poop and maybe ice cream?? The breakfast was just ok. Not really anything special but it came with the room. The service staff in the dining area were rude and unfriendly. When I called the front desk requesting the wifi password and breakfast slip they told me they would bring it up to the room we waited almost two hours and none one ever showed up. So we went to the front desk the next morning to ask for the password and the guy sitting by the heater said oh just get one of those papers off the desk there. The beds were decent definitely not the best but for sure not the worst. We were there in the summer so be prepared for the noise from the creek and the campground that is directly behind the hotel on the other side of the creek. The view out of the access door unfortunately the property cannot do anything about it but it is a condemned property and a horrible site to look at every time you come out of the room.
