“I had a very enjoyable stay at Sleepy Bear last week. I was there for a week long motorcycle tour of the area. I was able to park my bike outside my ground floor room. The room was spacious and clean. HVAC worked fine and the beds are comfortable. Large, newer, flat screen tv was nice. After a long day of riding I was able to sit on the back porch of the room and relax to a gentle rolling stream right behind the motel. “This used to be a great place to stay. Now rude Jamaican folks own it. They roll their eyes are very rude. The one cursing may had tattoos all over her head and face and was rude aswell. The place is falling apart. The balcony next to us has some gangsters from Memphis and Mississippi. “This hotel was great. Remodeled and very clean. Next to the trolley route. No pet fees. Aldeen at the desk is wonderful as is the night man although I didn't get his name. The only problem that I see is with the guests that don't appreciate that they have a nice clean room and are allowed their pets with no fee but refuse to clean up after their dogs. This is not the hotel's fault at all. They do their best to keep the dedicated area mowed and clean. They provide a garbage can and bags. ……
