“Everything was great”

“Sadly it’s not as convenient as it used to be….not really walkable to the airport, since the access has been changed. I think it was about US$18 for the five minute cab ride. Staff was nice, room was a bit musty smelling, bathroom had definite drain smell, but it was reasonably clean and the AC works well. I think the issue is the window doesn’t open, so the room wasn’t as well aired as I would have liked. It is fairly cheap compared to a lot of the other hotel options, and cabs were prompt,……

“The hotel was clean and the rooms quite large. The staff was amazing! Tita went above and beyond to assist me. I became very fond of her. The only drawbacks was the ice was on the 3rd floor and my room was in the 4th. The elevator was very small! Only room for two people with luggage, plus it had no air. “Location was amazing. So peaceful, quiet, and serene. Viewed sunset from deck chairs of our room. Small facility so beach walks not crowded with lots of tourists. Room a little small but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious - all so fresh. Secured parking on site. Only suggestion is to make guard gate electronic so aren’t required to get out of car to enter code. ”

“Pros: good location, clean, new. Cons: This is a very, very basic room. There was a desk, but no outlets to plug in a laptop, and no lights on or above the desk. No amenities like a coffee maker, toiletries (a bar of soap or tissues would be nice), microwave or refrigerator. Yet there was an ironing board in the closet, but no iron, and there was an ice maker in the hallway, but no ice bucket. No restaurant on site. When we asked the front desk for dining suggestions they said to use Google……

“I really wanted to give this place high reviews, but unfortunately the great pluses this property has (amazing location right on the water and views) are negated by an overzelous and controling owner. Prepared to be scolded, warned and admonished for many things a paying costumer would not in other stablishments. I.e. do not take the kayak out in the beautiful bay because it could be damaged by the coral..are u serious? Why have a kayak on the property if it cant be used. Or, dont leave the AC……
