"The room was clean, comfortable and very quiet! The staff were all very friendly, polite and very helpful. We travel to Detroit Lakes a lot and we love to stay at the Fairview whenever we can. It’s right across from one of the lakes there and there are several restaurants within walking distance. "

"Everything was brand new. It even smelled new. The only issues we had were... 1. The television reception was not good at all. Could not watch anything because every few seconds the screen would become pixilated and stall. 2. The pillows are great for those who love big fluffy pillows but a second option would have been nice. Outside of their control was loud music playing from somewhere until about midnight. There was no staff on site so hard to complain. We will stay there again!! Just bring your own pillow. "

"We loved our stay at the Lake Melissa Cabin! The house was beautiful with everything you need. The property outdoor was really nice. We especially loved the fenced in part if the yard. We took our dog Moose with us. We took him out there and were able to play ball with him off leash.We have family in the area and will definitely be back!"

"The setting and grounds were lovely as was the house itself. There is nice separation between social areas upstairs and sleeping areas downstairs. The support staff responded to a request to check a smoke alarm within minutes and returned with supplies we mentioned were in short supply. Already planning our next visit."
