“I stayed for 13 days, and it’s not a fancy hotel, but it’s a lovely, quiet spot perfect for a couple or family. You’re just a 4-minute walk from a beach restaurant, and there’s also a market if you need to pick up some essentials. I highly recommend it!”

“The staff was super friendly and helpful. The rooftop pool and hot tub were a beautiful add on with city views along with ocean views. The rooftop pool top bar and sitting area was very stylish. The hotel is so close to ocean water it might be a 5 minute walk from hotel door to the ocean water. Hotel is very clean and well kept. The room was great and stocked with everything you will need. I will be returning to this property before hurricane season starts. No need for a car with the grocery……

“We stayed at the royal sonesta July 2026 for 5 days. The whole duration of the stay they had elevator problems. I have mobility issues and we reserved an ocean view room which was on the 16th floor. The 3rd day of our stay we had to leave early for an excursion and we had to come down the stairs 16 flights because the elevators were not working. Later that day waiting for the elevators to go up took so long and the elevator cars were so packed . Our phone in the room was not working either we……

“Perfect location right at entrance to Playa Alambique. Safe property and location. Easy walk to restaurants and stores on Isla Verde strip. Room was clean and had the basic necessities. Beach chairs and cooler were helpful. Only surprise was paying an additional $35 non refundable fee security fee that I didn’t know about till after booking and had to do that through Truvi app separately. When I did reach out about a late check out- and/or potentially extending I got a response pretty……
