"We absolutely loved our stay at Chris’s cabin! It was very large and perfectly located in this little end of a cul-de-sac. Even though there is a hill behind the cabin, I felt very safe having my kids play out front on their own. The view is spectacular, it’s very private and so comfortable. Chris was amazing at communicating all the details about our stay and I had a nice conversation with him before we left to make sure we were all set to go. There is even a little patch of snow out in front of the house that the kids played in for about three hours! We found some nice sledding spots and really enjoyed our time there. We will definitely rent from Chris again!"

"We had an excellent time at the Mayor's house. The house is spacious and our group of 9 (7 adults/2 kids) was very comfortable. The driveway fits 4 cars. There were plenty of warm blankets and the heater kept us cozy. We spent much time in the kitchen and enjoyed the open layout. I thoroughly enjoyed the views of the sunrise from the front porch. There was plenty of seating on the front and back deck. The soaking tub was delightful after a day of hiking in the snow. We found a map of hiking trails across the street at the Pine Mountain Clubhouse. We enjoyed walking to the bakery for fresh pastries in the morning. This house is in a great location and has everything you need for a restorative getaway in the mountains. James was very responsive and we would love to visit again. Highly recommend!"

"This is the second time my family has rented this home. It has all the things you would want for a cozy getaway. The only downside to the property is that there is no cell phone reception, and the Wi-Fi is very spotty. We came up on the tail end of a winter storm, and had trouble getting up the road because of the ice, even with chains, and were not able to make any calls. Other than that, however, the house is awesome, the location is incredible with a hiking trail right out your front door, and Joel was very responsive to my emails."
