「It is a quaint little rustic cabin tucked away in the woods. The deck is lovely spot to spend a morning drinking some coffee and watching the variety of birds that fly by. I had an issue with my truck and was able to quickly communicate with John about staying an extra day and even getting to check out a little later, closer to when my truck would be fixed.Definitely recommend staying here!」

「We immediately settled right in and relaxed. The dogs loved it too! The wood stove kept things nice and warm inside the cabin despite it being in the 30s outside. Nearby hiking and activities were great. The wolf Conservatory, Lions Tigers and Bears, Lake Cuyamaca, and Julian were all visited and thoroughly enjoyed. Great spot for a weekend getaway!」

「As we pulled into the driveway of the A-Frame and saw the welcoming sign that said "You're Here!", snow began to dust my windshield. This quickly became a hailstorm which gave way to a heavy snowfall. Giant flakes fluttered to the ground as we explored our new digs and my kids and I quickly headed out to build a snowman, The retreat must be packed with renters in the warmer months. During our stay in early March, I think we saw three other people the entire time. That just enhanced the feeling...
