Modern clean comfort with real Pinehurst history. It's a very special place!

We have made this cottage just like we would want it for our vacation stay. We've taken our experiences with vacation rentals and learned. Much time and love has gone into making sure all the little things are just right for your visit....:)
1.25 acres of historical peaceful charm. Walk the grounds or enjoy the golf hole designed, built, and played on by Harvie Ward himself. He was an amazing amateur golfer who won US, British, and Canadian Opens. Harvie's distinguished playing career was followed by coaching his star pupil Payne Stewart.
The Cottage is 900 square feet and is practically laid out to seem very spacious. Recently updated with all new amenities. The perfect place to sit and read "The Match", which was written about Harvie and the day the game of golf changed forever. There's also golf, tennis, horses, history, and great food and drink nearby.
Great, almost unbelievable location....The Village is a very short walk.

A hidden Gem

What a lovely Cottage neatly tucked away in the heart of Pinehurst. A very welcoming and spacious layout. Perfect for a Couples retreat. The property is large and offers privacy and beautiful natural landscape.

Pinehurst Weekend

My wife and I stayed here for a short weekend getaway. This was a perfect place for two people. Large outdoor lot and good neighborhood. Basic kitchen with open dining and living area that was very comfortable. Enjoyed sleeping on the firm mattress!

Awesome cottage in Pinehurst

This was our second visit to Pete' cottage in Pinehurst, and it was very clean, comfortable, quiet, peaceful and a short walk to restaurants and activities. Highly recommended!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this cottage, centrally located, quaint and quiet. Pete was a perfect host and the cottage was just as described. I am already planning a trip back in early spring.

Perfect getaway

Pete and Fran were incredible hosts and the property was secluded and peaceful! The house was in great condition with all the essentials for our stay. Perfect location and is close to dozens of golf courses inland is a few blocks away from Pinehurst #2!

Cute and quiet

Very lovely, well kept cottage on quiet property. The golf hole is just a little bonus. Very close for walking on the am. Nice front porch for having morning coffee and listening to the birds.

Cute little cottage

We really enjoyed our long weekend away! This cottage was really cute and in a great location. We rented a golf cart and were able to get downtown within minutes. I will say, I wish there was shampoo and conditioner there instead of a 3 in one, also wish there was seasoning for cooking but I ran to the grocery store that was 5 minutes away as well. Overall very cute, clean and perfect for what we were looking for!

Pinehurst Hidden Gem!

What a peaceful retreat! This place was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. Most everything we wanted to do was within a short walking distance of the cottage. The porch offered a stunning view of the yard and was the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee. As a bonus, the golf hole was unique and lots of fun. What a wonderful place to call home while visiting Pinehurst. Thank you Pete and Fran!

Idyllic cottage in the pines

This is a wonderful property, a cottage in oriental style outside and very comfy inside. Clean and nicely presented just a half mile outside the Pinehurst Village center. Deer welcomed us each evening when we came in from our wanderings. Great golf, spa and more at Pinehurst resort without paying the big rates for the stay. Terrific.

Secret Pinehurst Cottage w/ chipping area

Once again I had an amazing time at the cottage, the location to Pinehurst #2/Thistle Dhu/Cradle is unbelievable. Having your own private golf hole to practice chipping or with your hickory sticks is next level.

Peaceful Pinehurst

My husband and I decided to go to Pinehurst for a long weekend. We so enjoyed this cottege! The main room was flanked by window making it bright and airy. Fresh flowers were a treat. I also loved the throw blankets. The kitchen sits at one end of the living space seperated by a long table. A two seat table sits in the windowed corner of the room making it a lovely place to sit and eat or play a game. The bed was soooo comfortable that I woke up without any aches or pains (I am going to contact the owner to inquire!) The bathroom was spacious. We so enjoyed sitting on the chairs on the front porch. My husband practiced gold on the little golf hole on the property. What really added to our trip was the history of the cabin. We started to read The Match before we came and finished while at the property. The cabin sits on a corner and the main road has some traffic but not enough to take away from the many peaceful times cars are not around. We enjoyed the town! BBQ festival, the resort's new putting course and the wondeful restaurant at the resort, The Duece. Do your back and soul a favor and book today!

Paradise in Pinehurst

How did we ever get lucky enough to find this whimsical unexpected pagoda nestled in the pines of Pinehurst is a question I'll wonder forever. It was immaculate and truly a week in heaven. I"ll remember it forever.
