“My wife and I came up for a long weekend, found this cabin online, and it was perfect for our plans. We spent a rainy morning inside reading, then headed out to see the park and the town of Mentone. Repeat for 2 more days, except without the rain. Being able to fix breakfast in the cabin was a real timesaver for us. We also found the place to be super clean with many thoughtful items like a few K-cups and a thermostat remote that we took upstairs with us at night.”

Pet friendly and nice location to access the South Sauty boat ramp.The cottage worked out for us and what we needed, but just wanted to share a few things so others can prepare: There weren't any cleaning products in the house for daily use (outside of dawn dish soap) so we bought our own to use. Not really an issue, but wanted to call it out.There aren't a lot of options for kitchen utencils. We cooked on the charcoal grill each……

“We had an amazing stay at the Hut. We loved watching the ducks run around and the friendly dog that really helped my dog relax after a 12 hour drive. He was nervous. Location was excellent. We utilized the kitchen and cooked all our meals. We brought food we cooked at our house for the first night, I am so glad we did because when you get off your exit you are past the town to get food. If you didn’t bring food just stop one exit early you have restaurants and grocery stores everything you need……

“Cabin was filthy, every surface was covered in pet hair even though it was listed as no pets allowed. Dog had pooped in the closet and left it for us to find. Hot tub was disgusting I spent hours trying to get the water clear. Would definitely not recommend to anyone. Owner did come out and offered a free night. I wouldn’t even stay here for free. ”
