"The staff here are amazing. From the General Manager Evelyn to all the staff including Brandon, Amy and the tall dude with salt n pepper hair who is a friendly gentle giant. Everyone here at this hotel is welcoming and genuinely care about making sure you have a good stay. The pool and hot tub are well maintained and they have a little store in the hotel that is very well equipped. They have ice cream in it and if you tell them to not let you have more than one ice cream…they remind you but let you get your fill! If I wanted to be very critical of judging this hotel I could say the couches and tvs in the room could be updated but everything is maintained very well and everything is clean! The breakfast does need some work… I’ve stayed at the holiday inn hotel next door and while it is newer, this Hampton inn has more amenities, the staff is better, and it feels more like a home. I recommend this Hampton inn for visits in asheboro over every hotel and I’ve stayed at every one of them"

"Room was clean and spacious. Ample parking in the front and the back. Only issues was back door closest to room was having issues and had to walk all the way around the building and through hotel to get to room. Pool also closed for season but no mention when booking. Other then that it was a good place to stay for a night or two when on the road"

"This was an older type of hotel so it was not quite up to par with some of the newer places but it was comfortable and the front desk staff were professional and helpful. They could use another luggage dolly or two. People had to wait to use one when checking out. I only saw 2 dollies to use when I was there."

"I enjoyed my week at Robin’s Nest. Badin Lake seems beautiful and the pool area was wonderful. The restaurant on the resort was also nice- although closed a lot if the week. The Park Model was clean and adequate. The only issue I had was that the photos in the listing made me believe I was right on the lake. I actually never did find the public beach or see a full view of the lake. I spent my time at the lovely pool area, but it was quite far away and I had to drive there. I would come again- but it would be good to clarify the location of the park model."

"Such a beautiful and peaceful place to stay! The house is comfortable, well cared for, and has everything you need for a relaxing lake getaway. The lake and surrounding area are gorgeous, and it’s the perfect place to slow down, spend time outside, and enjoy being by the water. There’s plenty of space to relax and spend time together, and it really feels like a home rather than just a rental. There is a lakeside restaurant within walking distance. I loved spending time here and would absolutely recommend it for a lake trip!"
