"We came for a bike race over one of the coldest weekends on record. The first night, temperatures were close to 0 F and the icy wind had no trouble cooling the cabin through its numerous cracks. (no doubt that the cabin is fine in summer -- but not built for harsh winter.) We could not get warm enough to take off our parkas. The drama continued with my son being awakened by mice in the walls of the loft (we should have known something was up when we saw the numerous mouse traps in the loft...

"This place was absolutely perfect for me and my teenage daughter! So clean and quiet. We stayed in a Bell tent. Peaceful beyond belief. The camp store had everything we needed and let us get some great memorabilia! We took full advantage of the amenities, which were great after hiking all day in the near by State Parks. The ice bath, sauna and hot tub were welcomed!! The convenience to so many great hiking trails, waterfalls and State Parks makes it even more favorable for us! We will be back!!"

"The communication from the host was perfection and the property is absolutely stunning. A wonderful place for a family getaway. Our group did lots of hikes that were nearby the house, including one with waterfalls. It was a really special and we will always cherish these memories.
