Post-storm Update:

Our home, road and surrounding area was largely spared by the September 2024 storm (Helene). Our most immediate impact was downed trees, which actually opened up our eastward mountain views. We are thankful that our home suffered no major damage, and that the quaint downtown of Brevard with and all its cool shops and restaurants was virtually unscathed by Helene.
