Great place!

We loved staying here, very clean and homey! We loved the back yard and deck- very pretty area. Only concern was with our dogs the property was not technically fenced in by the road so they could have ran out onto the street but other than that was the perfect property.

Great location in Brevard

This property is an excellent base for activities in the Brevard area. A pastoral setting, this farmhouse is out in the countryside but within minutes of Pisgah/Brevard. We will use this home again.

A Wonderful Place!

We have definitely found our 'place to stay' for Brevard, NC. The house was immaculately clean and perfect for us. Elisabeth was more than helpful with immediate responses the few times we had questions.

Perfect for our needs

The house was perfect for our short vacation. The house was very well maintained and clean. The pictures don't do the house justice. Very well decorated and well stocked with everything you need for your stay. The grounds are fantastic, with an assortment that can be enjoyed right from the screened porch. The location allows easy access for anything you want to do, Will definitely stay again.

The few times we needed to contact management, they were near instant in their reply. We have found our 'home away from home' when we visit this area.

Great Location to enjoy all the area has to offer

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is located between Pisgah Forest and Dupont State Forest and is close to many of the area breweries. We enjoyed the views in the evening from both the inside and outside decks. Only the cool weather kept us away from the pond in the evenings. The yard had plenty of space for our 2 dogs to run and play. I would definitely rent this again.

Another Great Christmas Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the second year we’ve rented this house as overflow space for family holiday gathering. It is just perfect. Kitchen is well stocked, beds are comfortable and we appreciated the large TV for sports. The view of frost covered fields from the kitchen was so beautiful. Property is close to Brevard for groceries and shopping. We’ll be back again.

Wonderful mountain home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house has everything you need and all in working order. We just loved the location and easy to get to. There are no steep driveways to fight getting up. The weather was chilly so we didn’t use the beautiful bbq area or the porch. Definitely would stay here again. No bugs and very clean, two of my top of the list requirements.

It was a perfect location, a few miles away from their place, and close to Brevard, hiking, walking trails. The house itself has a beautiful view of fields and mountains from the deck or screened porch. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well-stocked. Added bonus is the gazebo and fish pond, a relaxing setting to enjoy a warm Christmas day. The place is beautifully maintained, all the comforts of home.

A wonderful place to stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Vaquero for eight nights and enjoyed each minute.The home is comfortable and has everything you would need. The king bed is very comfortable and the home was extremely clean. It was very close to Brevard and about 25 minutes from Hendersonville. Thank you for allowing us to stay with our two pups. They enjoyed the large yard and we were able to see the farmer who leases the hay field bale up the hay.

Reviewer Comments: Viewing deer cross through the pasture in the morning while sipping coffee from the screened porch. Hummingbirds made a visit daily along with a calling hawk hunting in the field. House is comfortable, road noise takes getting use to...but would stay here again. Nice carport to protect car and people from elements.

Brevard getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: After cancelling our beach vacation because of hurricane Ian, I found this property and I'm really glad I did. It's a great location just outside of Brevard and the home was the perfect size for me, my wife, and our miniature dachshund. Easy access to Brevard, Pisgah, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Had a great meal at the Salty Landing in Etowah and the sunset viewing from the porch is outstanding. Property manager was attentive but not intrusive. Highly recommended.

Amazing!

We came from Charlotte so when we got to Brevard, it was too early for check in so we went right down the road from the house to Brevard Tubing and went tubing for two hours until check in was available. Once we arrived at the house, we instantly felt right at home. The house was very clean and private! The property itself was beautiful. The house has amazing views on the back deck. We spent the most time on the back decks but also sat by the pond and the Pergola on the property. The location was great as we ventured to Hooker Falls, Sliding Rock and good Looking Glass Falls for a fun filled adventure! We look forward to coming back! Thank you for your hospitality!

Nice view and area from the porch.

The house was as expected, except it did smelled a bit like cat pee. I let management know this upon arrival. They said they would investigate further. Never heard more. It was tolerable once I put a pot of water with cinnamon on the stove. We also cooked a lot and opened windows, which helped take our mind off. The house is centrally located to Moore Cove Trail and Jeter Mountain Orchard, which were perfect for our group. The house had all the items we needed. The pergola, grilling area, and pond were cute.

Family Reunion in the Mountains

The pictures do not give this property justice of the peaceful beauty and surroundings it deserves. The owners have thought of everything to make this such a pleasant home to stay in, from the decorative flowers on the patio and around the property, to ensuring the lawn is freshly cut upon arrival, providing charcoal for us with the outdoor grill if we chose to use it and having each room set up so nicely, with adequate towels for the bathrooms and plenty of kitchen amenities that we needed for our stay. They even provided fish food for the small fish pond on the property so that we could enjoy feeding the fish each evening! We loved watching the sunset on the back porch area each night and just appreciated the space this home allowed 5 adults to gather for our annual reunion with other family in Brevard. We felt very comfortable in this home and just appreciate the location, the views of the valley and mountains and the peacefulness in the evening that it provided. Would most definitely stay with this property again without hesitation!

Peaceful

Very peaceful; especially enjoyed sitting in the screened in porch. Good access to hiking and Brevard. We did have a problem with the water being cloudy at first and actually brown in one of the tubs. It cleared up after a few days. Not sure what the problem was. We did not call about it. We also couldn’t figure out how to change the thermostat settings. Next time we will call about these 2 things. But we loved the house and the great views.

Enjoyable Vacation

The property was very clean when we arrived. So peaceful and quiet. Although the weather was not perfect we enjoyed the property and especially the screened in porch. The fact that we could bring our extended family (fur babies) made it even more wonderful. We will surely be visiting again.
