“We were warmly greeted on our arrival by super-helpful Felipe. We had an early start our first morning and asked if a 6am breakfast (90 minutes before breakfast is usually served) would be possible. Not a problem we were told. I was anticipating that we might get a pastry. But instead we started our day with the most amazing home cooked juevos rancheros. Staying in the tree house was special. “the breakfast was great. the pool was a nice way to relax at the end of a long travel day.
the staff was terrific. the grounds were a delight. flowers, birds, and butterflies everywhere.
however, just an fyi: to those susceptible, like me there are pretty bad mosquitos. especially on the river walk. my wife noticed at the end of our stay that there is mosquito repellent at the desk. ”
