「This is the perfect beach house vacation home. It’s steps away from the beach and steps away from the grocery store. The people around were nice and helpful. The host was very communicative and checked in with us through text with us multiple times. 」

「Came out to Huntington Beach to spend time with a friend who is local. The cottage is in a great location and close to everything on the Balboa Peninsula. Very comfortable and really enjoyed my time around Huntington, Laguna, and San Juan! 」

「This was such a cute home close to everything , lots of beach equipment provided which was nice. It is comfortable for a small family and it was great to have designated parking ! It was well appointed and very clean. I would say maybe add a pizza cutter, fly swatter and a dust pan. Great stay overall. 」

「We always enjoy our week at Chase’s cottage. We celebrated Mother’s Day, had beautiful weather and were lucky enough to add a couple of extra days to our vacation. We looked forward to having coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at night out on the new deck furniture. Until next time!! 」

「Location was great and place was clean and well appointed. Having 2 parking spots was really convenient. I live in Orange County and rarely go to the beach so it was nice to spend a little time in the sun and sand! Especially with the bathroom and parking close by. 」

「The house was beautiful! In a great area convenient for everything. We came to visit family and the house happen to be just a few blocks away. The management is very accommodating and communication is great! Definitely going to try and book here again in the future next trip to Long Beach. 」

Location was walkable to shops and the ferry. There was a thoughtful welcome note and amenity, which was a nice touch! There was a lot of construction on the island, so it was noisy... not the owner's fault. Bring a sound machine, because it's a busy island!」

「My family and I spent a summer weekend at this home while visiting relatives in the area, and it couldn’t have been better. The house was spotless, the outdoor space was perfect for relaxing, and the kitchen equipped with high-end appliances was a dream. Most importantly, the hosts were absolutely incredible! If you're considering this place, don’t hesitate you won’t be disappointed. Both the home and the neighborhood are truly exceptional.」

「Me and my family love this beach cottage! We had rented it back in 2018 and had a great time so we returned this year and will return again in the future. The cottage is right on the sand, 2 blocks down from the boardwalk, so you can easily walk or ride a bike to get to the pier or any of the many shops and restaurants. The only issues we had were: 1. The owner showed up and walked right into the apartment, where my daughter and grand children were getting ready for lunch, without knocking or...

「We arrived with instructions to retrieve the front door key from a lock box. We opened the lock box only to find it was empty. We called our host numerous times, emailed and texted. We never got a response. We tried to contact hotels.com with no success. We finally were able to speak to someone at The Evolve Team, which is the company that manages this vacation rental. After numerous calls back and forth they agreed to cancel our booking and begin the process for refunding our money in full. I...
