Thanks for taking the time to write a detailed review. We appreciate your perspective. Just to clarify :) pricing actually changes with demand and season. Every room is different in layout and size. However, we're on 10 acres with plenty of outdoor common areas and "hang out spots" equipped with chairs and tables. So regardless of room, guests can enjoy the natural serenity of the property while they're here.

I'm actually surprised by your review. Based on your time here, I thought you and your family had a great time and truly enjoyed the property and room. We did have a full turnover of rooms that day and its possible one of our housekeepers was just waiting to get started(?) I'm really not sure. Either way, we hope you had a great birthday weekend.

True we seem like we're far away when you arrive on site, but in actuality we're only 15 minutes from some of the best restaurants in the area, 10 minutes from the American River, close to Apple Hill and minutes from some of the best wineries in California. We look forward to seeing you again!

Although I wish it were true, not every room has a kitchenette area (4 of the 7 do), but we do have a completely stocked outdoor kitchen in our covered pavilion complete with 4 burner stove, convection oven, microwave, ice machine, and a gas BBQ available for every guest to enjoy. Thanks for staying with us and we hope to serve you again

Eden Vale's gardens change with the seasons and Spring is especially beautiful. Our new flower garden should be in full bloom! We're so glad you we're able to relax and unwind

We realize having a fully automated system with custom buttons to light the fireplace and fill the tub can be potentially confusing and will do our best to address any potential confusion. We’ll look into hot water challenges and see if there’s anything that can be done to better the situation. Most rooms are on an on demand system, but not all... yet. Thanks again for your comments we strive to improve constantly
