"We were welcomed by reception staff, all information was explained in detail (en français). The apartment was exceptionally clean and comfortable and as described. We had a ground floor apartment with a terrace screened off from the parking area. The proximity to the beach was wonderful, again as advertised. "

"The rooms were clean. The location was excellent. Having a private parking space was excellent. Less good: the bathroom was on the ground floor; no instructions were provided for the oven, which was an unusual type; the bed was not very comfortable.One particular concern was that although the host had asked what time we expected to arrive and we had provided that information we received an email the day before our arrival from an unknown person asking the same question. The email was not addressed to us by name, referred to "the house" but did not name it and we were unsure whether the mail was genuine. The owner confirmed it was but it would have been helpful if he had informed us that we would be contacted by this person (who met us on our arrival).We will visit Ste Maine again (we have been several times) but will not stay at this property or use Vrbo. "
