"Absolutely wonderful staff. Very small team but they run it like there are 20 of them. 30 seconds from the bus stop, greeted cheerfully when we arrived, filled out some forms and were shown to our room. It was nice and cozy, great view of the surrounding mountains. Breakfast was good, nothing crazy but enough to start the day. Dinner in their restaurant was also great. The spa was fantastic. Easy as asking for the robes and slippers and you ca use it as much as you’d like. Only thing, I wish they were able to show you around but I understand people’s privacy. I found out what a “Gletscherwasser“ shower was the hard way! But that place is amazing. "

"This large home turned out to be perfect for our group of 11 mixed family ranging from ages 9-80. There was ample space and though we are hardly professionals, an amazing chef’s kitchen. We selected the location for its size and proximity to Zermatt. That turned out to be the only downside, as it was a bus to a train and took over an hour, more because service was interrupted due to a landslide when we there. A little warning that the hill to the chalet is super steep and was hard for the grandparents. However, the views were spectacular and we really enjoyed the quiet. We turned out to be charmed by the nearby town of Grächen and its restaurants, shops and abundant nature and hiking. Walter was a great host, communicated well and had a brief issue with hot water fixed immediately. All in all, it was a delightful stay. "
