"Beautiful historic hotel. Lots of history. The dining room is gorgeous and the breakfast was really good. Rooms are small but that was expected. They are nicely decorated in the era of the building. There was a space type heater in the room which worked fine. Maybe the radiator doesn’t work anymore..Shower was strong and water was warm. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and had the added benefit of learning about the history of the building and the architect, Julia Morgan."

"Good place to crash for an evening after a show! Staff were nice, room was clean and parking lot if safe. No AC so if it were the peak of summer would be way too hot and sheets were pretty scratchy. But in a good spot and a pretty walk able area"

"Excellent service and rooms very clean. It’s right off the freeway and 1/4 mile walk to BART station. Close to Safeway. Area gets tricky at night, it’s next to a warehouse, a big field were workers and unhoused men park and there’s a closed down and fenced Kmart. There’s a Walgreens also you can walk to during the day but not a night. San Pablo blvd is the better street to walk down. Be careful carrying large bags or purses after dark especially at the Del Norte BART. I almost had a young...
