「The staff were lovely and the rooms were nice」

「It was a nice clean hotel. Unfortunately they were struggling to get keys to work in some doors. 6 tries to get us into a room which included 4 trips up and down from the second floor. Then sent me to a room that had other guests…luckily the key didn’t work again. Finally had to try 2 rooms on the first floor, which ok…it’s now been a half hour and we’re finally in a room. Then at 2:30 AM they send other guests to check into our room because they failed to update their system to reflect the room...

「sink in bathroom appeared to have been reattached to wall with calking which was cracking and appeared to be loose on wall. The soap dish in bathroom had black gunk underneath it. Removed comforter after finding stains on it. Stains on sofa」

「Staff was great. It would be nice to have a microwave in the rooms and maybe a waffle maker in the breakfast area, maybe serve sausage links or bacon. Only other suggestion would be a trash shoot or something on each floor for larger trash since the trash cans in the rooms are small. The property itself was nice and clean. 」

「Stayed at this hotel for anmixnof business and mini getaway. The room was spacious, clean and bed was comfortable. There was a mini fridge, microwave and tea/coffee maker. All in excellent condition. Breakfast was included and was better than many places I have stayed in. There was ample and small changes daily along with the staples. Nothing to complain about and the coffee was excellent. Note coffee was available 24/7. Overall the property is in spectacular condition. Anyone that thinks...

「Very clean and updated but the building itself is old. They had a decent hot breakfast; waffles, eggs, sausage, etc. Good and bad news, it's next to scoreboard bar and grill which has excellent food, unfortunately it can get loud at night being next to bars. I would say that it is a 5 star, 2 star hotel.」

「The hotel was clean and the staff was helpful and very friendly. My only complaint was that the pillows were probably the worst I have ever used. The mattress was great so it's surprising that the the pillows were so bad. 」

「1. I booked a room online, which stated there were no additional fees. However, upon check-in at the hotel, they demanded an extra fee for processing check-in! 2. Every morning from 8 to 9 a.m., when you're still asleep, a strange man with a full beard vigorously knocks on your door! And when you refuse to get up, he even unlocks your door without your consent! When I asked him why, he didn't provide a reasonable explanation! He kept asking if I had thirty dollars, and if I wanted to exchange...

「Parking included across the street. Loved The Russell. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in that area. Close by to restaurants. Beautiful lobby to hangout. There was a filtered water and ice machine on each floor with a microwave. Bottled water and snacks provided in the room with a coffee machine. Coffee and tea available in the lobby. We did notice that grab bars are needed in the shower for safety reasons. 」
