Lacking
This is a tired property. On arrival the oven was dirty and had not been cleaned after the last guests and a number of dishes and plates needed washing before use. The dishwasher was musty and had food stuck in the filter. Neither of the 2 vacuum cleaners left for us worked properly - we were told that we needed to clean before we left despite being told in paperwork that the rental charge included a cleaning fee. Some of the garden furniture was broken and the garden chairs rusty and unusable. There is no smoke alarm in the property (as advertised). Communication with the concierge before arrival was difficult and sporadic. I had to ask more than once to confirm the booking and that payment had been received. On the plus side, the location was peaceful and very convenient for walking the coast path. There is a relaxed bar and a direct seller of fish/shellfish within 5 minutes walk. Lilia (30 minutes pleasant walk, or 5 minutes drive) has a good variety of restaurants. The concierge could not recommend a beach to swim from or a place to buy bread.
