"My wife Judy introduced me to Werrys years ago and we just love it there. The owners Sam and Linda are great people. The way we like to describe the hotel/bar is it's an old, country western/ biker bar vibe with lots of character. The locals are now close friends. When we arrive, its a nice welcoming feeling. "The day to day staff i.e. servers were amazing. Pool time was pretty chill, however the pool needs cleaning. Cherry house rooms smelled bad, outdated furniture, etc. Was a big turn off. The night vlub scene was fun, however they need to have more LBGTQ events to attract bigger crowds. "

"The house is lovely, clean, spacious, and has great amenities. The fire pit is amazing and we loved just sitting on the deck enjoying the beautiful surroundings. We also had a movie night in the movie room. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were really well appointed, especially the one off the king bedroom. (Just note that the "hot tub" listed is in fact a jetted bathtub.) The hosts went above and beyond to answer out questions and make us feel welcome."

"Tom and Jola were wonderful hosts! Our 2-week stay at their home pleasantly turned into a most comfortable (beyond our expectations) home away from home for us. They were very thoughtful in making sure all the basic things one would need are there and presented clearly. Tom's communication was prompt, clear and cordial - on arrival, during the stay when I had to call him once, and at departure. Would definitely stay here again if we are in the area, and highly recommend to any family looking for a nice place to stay in Poconos."
