Area is very good but hotel needs renovation complained about bar fridge not working in room and never got fixed, also carpet rugs placed on floor covering damage and asked for shower to be fixed and it went not repaired all week

Lovely hotel and beautiful setting. Food (Fish in particular) was amazing, great service during the day out on the beach. Lovely views during the day and sun set was unreal. Walking distance to bars and restaurants, there were none that we didn't like. Traffic into Split was busy but not unmanageable. Just allow extra time. Only issue we had was requested an iron, each time was told they will come back to us... they never did. Then eventually was told there wasn't one for us to borrow. Not a massive deal and didn't ruin the stay at all. I would recommend this hotel.

Nice beach area. The listing was misrepresented. Expedia stated there was minature golf, billards room, indoor/outdoor pool and motorized motor sports. Whenvwe inquired we were told that the hotel did not have yhose amenities. The front desk clerk agreed that it was a misrepresentation. Those amenities are what drove us to choose this hotel. The TV in the room did not work and no attempt was made to fix it.

I booked a so-called luxury suite, and we got one small unventilated and sun-warmed small room, which we managed to exchange for a double small room with a balcony. Quite disorganized and inhospitable reception in general. A la carte restaurant with no choice, as well as breakfast in the morning. It looks most like a canteen. I do not recommend.

Nice clean rokm,helpful staff on reception ,decent breakfast,however it says your on private beach there is no such thing and other tourists can easily rent a dunbed here so its quite small and iver crowded the big thing for me is that per person you had to pay 100 kuna for 1 bed which is atound 15 Euros even as a guest of the hotel ..I found this a total rip off as uou can walk aling 1 minute to the right and get one for 50 kuna ..so this I felt as a guest of the hotel was unfair..I have never known this anywhere and I travel a lot

We stayed here for 4 nights, overall property was clean and had good transport links to the centre and a local grocery store a short walk away. The staff were friendly and helpful. However the beach was poorly maintained and not what we expected and there was a charge to use the sun beds. Breakfast wasn’t the best and had a limited variety of foods.

Loved the hotel, the location the staff were amazing :). They let us keep our bags there till our room was ready and then again after we checked out which was fab as our flight wasnt till 10pm :) great service :) highly recommended and definitely would go again :D

Great place to stay to explore Split combined with a beach. Hotel is in a lovely spot right on the beach, Podstrana is not that exciting but reason we stayed was proximity to Split and being on a beach, the bus to Split stops right outside and costs around £3 each way. The hotel is modern and clean and we were upgraded to a suite which was a nice surprise. The reception staff were welcoming and friendly. The breakfast at the hotel is ok but not up to 4* standard. All in all good value.

Recommend if you are booking this property.. make sure you stay in main hotel and not the annex.... this is on the MAIN road and some of the rooms are underground... our room had a window and patio with a view of rubble.... the sheets and quilts were damp and we had to remove from bed.... it was clean though

We checked in to our property ac didn’t work and huge mold on the wall. The property didn’t have any rooms and decided to “upgrade us” and charge us for the upgrade which we didn’t want 25 euros. Very unprofessional of them since there was mold and not working ac and we were traveling with a small child which imposes a huge health risk. We do not suggest to stay here. On top of it all we were given a room that didn’t have outlet in bathroom and broken patio chair in the “upgrade “ avoid this place at all costs

The hotel and staff were very good Only thing I can say as a bad point was you have pay for sun beds ie 2 sun beds and umbrella would cost 150 krona =£18.16 pounds per day So 10 day =£181 .60

Beautiful views, lovely food and amazing hotel room. Hotel bed was very comfortable. However, we were told if we spend 150 corona in the restaurant, we get our sun beds for free for the day. That was not the case. Sun beds were expensive.

I didn't like the fact that they don't provide early breakfast, but thanks to the staff in the restaurant (which is I'm not his name was). He served me 4 pieces of bread, 2 eggs sunny side up, salamis and cheese, and I can catch the bus to Plitvice

More like a 2-3 stars hotel
When we reached the hotel it was by the beach and was beautiful and we had a good greeting from the hotel staff. We were even upgraded to what they said was a bigger and better room with an amazing view. The view was AMAZING to wake up to. During our 4 night stay we had some good times but we also had some bad experiences; - The fridge didn’t work and we had to travel to the bar every day to get ice - The bacon and sasauges were overly oily literally dripping with oil. And the eggs were always running and you were not able to have your eggs made to you liking - they only had 1 toaster where you could toast 4 at a time but during our stay only 2 worked - On our last night we asked for a clean towel to be brought up but it had blood stains - the yogurt we had at breakfast on the 2nd day, even though it was in date, was growing mould and when we complained the staff took it to the back and never apologised

Lovely hotel, perfect for a quiet beach stay.
Excellent hotel, right on the beach, beautiful terrace restaurant to have breakfast. The photos don’t do it enough justice! 3min walk to the marina with lovely restaurants and paddle board / kayak hire etc. 30min bus to split, the bus stop is right outside the hotel, taxi from the airport is about €45 and takes about 40mins. Very helpful staff, we were upgraded on our arrival there was a couple of minor issues with the room but these were addressed by the staff the next day so we couldn’t ask for more. We would definitely return!

3-4 Star Hotel
Excellent location, right on the beach with fantastic views out to sea (tip: request a room in the main hotel on the second floor or above when booking, otherwise you might end up with a small balcony directly above the restaurant rooftop). Great for watching the sunsets. Spacious room, comfortable beds, blackout curtains, decent sized balcony with table, chairs and sunbed, and bathroom with jacuzzi bath, shower and double washbasins. Hot water boiler inefficient so it's best to have a shower during off-peak times otherwise the water might be cold. Indoor pool on top floor with good views but the water was colder than the sea temperature. Fast internet access. Good parking, located off the main road to/from the Split and airport direction and to/from Omis for the zipline and river activities. Good, friendly and helpful service from the receptionists but not so friendly from the restaurant staff. Poor food quality overall and badly organised breakfasts, always with a queue for the one coffee/tea maker and a general lack of clean plates, cutlery etc. Better to try the other restaurants along the beach and at the Meridien marina (or in Split) for a better value and tastier lunch/dinner, or buy food at the local bakeries and shops on the main road.

The hotel is great it is in Podstrana about a 10 / 15 min ride out of Split, the booing was in the Summer and was very busy. You must be aware the hotel manages a couple of other hotel building that are behind the advertised hotel. I was there in business so it did not bother me to much but if I was there in vacation I would really been in happy. I was placed in one of the building behind the hotel and the view was basically of the hotel I thought I was going to be staying in, which is advertised with an ocean view. I can see how if you were checking in on vacation this would be disappointing. 50% of the staff were great, beds in the building we were in were very in comfortable

The hotel was very accommodating when we arrived at 8 AM after a 15 hour train ride to Split. They let us check in early and we were very appreciative!
