Beautiful Home in the Countryside

We stayed for a week here at this beautiful home and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is clean and well maintained as is the surrounding property. There are many amenities (pool, tennis, table tennis, basketball) to enjoy plus a couple of nice areas to sit outside and eat or enjoy the evening. While Italy was extremely hot during our stay, the pool and the AC in the bedrooms kept us cool. I would highly recommend this house for a relaxing, family focused holiday that is still within short distances to a few wonderful towns.

Very nice, large house with beautiful pool and garden

This house was just perfect for us. We were travelling with 7 adults and a 2 year old. Bedrooms were spacious and well located. Large kitchen, well equipped and many seating possibilities. Aircos were functioning well. There was plenty of space for everybody to have some privacy when needed. The house had a 70's Hollywood feeling, really interesting touches. Liliana the host was always very helpful. The only thing is that you need a car to get anywere and nice sandy beaches are quite far away, approx. 25 minutes. But the pool was so great that we didn't go to beaches often. I can deffinitely recommend this house!

Great, Well Cared For Family Home

Liliana and her family have a well-cared for and well-appointed home in a very nice setting. It was perfect for our two families. Liliana and Francesco were very responsive when we had issues and gave good tips / suggestions for doctors, stores, restaurants and beaches. The internet wasn’t working and Liliana kept after the utility company until they came to fix it. Liliana even connected us to a chef that came to the house and gave cooking lessons. Our kids were sick for a lot of our stay and Liliana helped research ways we could see a doctor (for instance a drop in pediatric clinic in Monopoli). The pool is wonderful and kept in top condition—Francesco comes every night and every morning to maintain it. The deck chairs and umbrellas are great! The weather was very hot during our stay so we had to run the AC a lot (AC only in bedrooms). It was hard to keep the home at a comfortable temperature without closing most the exterior storm shades. Be aware that Liliana and family give you a weekly energy budget. The heat also required Liliana and Francesco to be there often to water the extensive landscaping. The home’s location is rural but close to all the services you need in Castellana and Triggianelo. Beaches are 25-30 min away but it’s a beautiful drive. There is a metal shop next door so occasionally we would hear loud noises in an otherwise peaceful setting. On our last night we watched a thunder and lightning storm travel across the land from the upper deck off one of the bedrooms. Absolutely amazing! Liliana cares very much for her home and her guests. Look elsewhere if you are the type who doesn’t want an involved, caring, and knowledgeable host. We would definitely stay here again. Grazie Liliana!

Magnifique!

Une maison superbe, au calme et avec de nombreuses activités pour toute la famille (piscine, basket, tennis, mini golf,...), des propriétaires très accueillants et prévenants et un très bel environnement. Tout pour passer des vacances mémorables. Merci encore à Liliana et sa famille.

A splendid gem in a rural setting!!!

We have visited many places and must tell you that Liliana di Bartolomeo and Francesco are simply the best hosts and enormous fun to be with as well. Their stunning villa is extremely well appointed and the facilities appear never ending. They have thought of absolutely everything, even a sturdy cot, baby bath and high chair, things for children and also adults to play with too. What more could anyone wish for? We ran out of superlatives to describe their superb taste, style and design in furniture and appliances. Every time we glanced at one object in their astonishing home and garden we noticed yet more wonderful items. We appreciated what an accumulation of thoughts and time must have gone into planning everything to satisfy their guests’ needs, they have provided everything to enhance people’s enjoyment. Their subtle attention to detail is outstanding and second to none and everywhere is so well maintained and well equipped that they cannot be faulted in any way. We have never seen a pool kept so clean and Francesco’s ‘submarine’, albeit Blue and Grey and not a Yellow one, is a tremendous tool to keep it pristine! We entirely agree with their other guests’ comments and we had a fantastic holiday, very many thanks to them. Our many cycle rides gave us an insight into the superb peaceful rural countryside that exists and surrounds the villa. We are amazed and truly grateful for the kindness and support they extended to us, it is something we will never forget. Sincere thanks for the privilege in allowing us to stay at Polignano Villa Resort. PS:- We did not have one bad meal there, that’s Italy and Puglia for you…

Très agrable semaine dans les Pouilles de 9 amis.

Très belle villa bien située pour découvrir les sites les plus remarquables des Pouilles sans faire trop de kilomètres(Castellana,Polignano Alberobello,etc et même Lecce,Matera et Bari). Grands espaces dans cette villa confortable et très bien équipée, et jardin et piscine superbes et bien entretenus. Excellent accueil et bons conseils de Liliana et Francesco. Vraiment à recommander.

Una Bellissima Casa di Vacanza per Relax e Sport

Bellissima casa d'architetto come descritto, per piacevoli vacanze estive. Veramente ben attrezzata: per la cucina e i tavoli interni ed esterni, per la lettura e il relax, all'interno ed all'esterno, i giochi all'aperto per piccoli e grandi! Non portare nulla, c'è tutto il necessario. L'accoglienza (consigli vari) e la cura (giardino e piscina) da parte dei proprietari ci hanno permesso di rilassarci e passare piacevolissime vacanze in famiglia, in una regione ricca e tutta da scoprire.

Excellent séjour dans les Pouilles!

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans cette villa idéalement située, entre les grottes de Castellana et les superbes villages de Polignano a Mare et de Monopoli. La villa est grande, confortable, très très bien équipée...nous y avons passé des moments très agréables avec nos 5 jeunes enfants. Liliana, la propriétaire, est extrêmement accueillante et d'une grande gentillesse. Je recommande vivement cette location!
